[6.0] "Electric segment after electric segment and I don't see how WWE can pay-off the D Bry/Miz rivalry. Both got killer lines ("if you're going to be passive-aggressive"/"you're afraid to fight") and their three minute spat provided the best part of this evening's broadcast. Not that it was a bad show but outside the main event there was an extremely paltry amount of in-ring meat. Not that I wanted Kane/Orton to last any longer than it did but perhaps this was the wrong week to turn Hawkins as a joke as another joke, Ellsworth, was a fixture on tonight's broadcast. But I should give James credit for his performance even if his presence is both cloying and, for me, overcooked. Yet the idea that Ambrose continuously gets chances at AJ shows weak the depth chart is on Smackdown and what little interest the powers that be have in bringning up talent that's aging and partially wasted on NXT (Naka/Joe/Aries- before he got injured/etc. ) Elsewhere, A Alpha/The Uso's looked strong, w/ Becky's injury A Bliss has had a few more weeks to get over in a better position than she will once she loses to Lynch in Glasgow. Like many have mentioned the writers of Smackdown have done a much better job of consistently entertaining their audience week-after-week than the Raw crew."

[8.0] "good show, the storylines are evolving quite well, the fact that it lasts 2 hours helps a lot and make the show enjoyable. Guys like AJ, Ambrose, Ziggler, Miz and Becky are carrying this show and it's good"

[6.0] "There was great storytelling on this show but the matches were way too short. For example: First match: 2 minutes Second match: 5 minutes Thirds match: 2 minutes Fourth match: 7 seconds Fifth Match: 1 minute The main event was much longer but still, we had way too many short matches!"

[7.0] "Apart from the main event the match quality last night was very poor; however in terms of segments there was a lot of good. Smackdown creative team know how to build feuds, they know how to make things interesting. Wyatt vs Orton feud to begin with absolutely sucked, they identified a problem, gave them two very intriguing backstage segments, Harper then returned and things have started to get interesting. The Miz & Bryan segment was probably the best part of the night, these two deliver everytime they lay eyes on each other. Said it before, you either love or hate this Ellsworth storyline, but last night was some of the most entertaining segments I've seen this year, the ending was hilarious. Other highlights were Alexa's mic time and Corbin's video package."

[9.0] "Yet another episode of Smackdown that forwarded many feuds and did interesting things that got people invested. Much of the undercard was short matches that only existed to forward storylines or set up teams for Survivor Series, but all of them did their job perfectly. Orton joining the Wyatts, Bryan talking down to Miz about not being a fighter, Ziggler challenging anybody on Raw, Alexa's momentum going into her title match next week, etc. Then, however, was the main event. Styles and Ambrose had another really good match here, probably their third-best behind their matches with the title on the line. What is striking about this match is just how much the crowd was into it. They got behind it like they have before, since SD is booked pretty well and lets them care about it, the final 5 minutes of this match, including the Ellsworth interference, was SO hot, and SO well-done by everybody involved, leading to Dean's victory getting a legitimately huge pop that hasn't been heard in WWE for YEARS. The post-match visual was just perfect, too. Talking Smack then, of course, built up some more characters in Nattie, Gable, and Jordan, while giving Dean time to immediately respond to his victory. Great stuff, as usual from this new Smackdown. I can only hope they keep this up for as long as possible."
