[6.0] "This was a better episode of the Challenge compared to latest weeks. No recaps here which is good, and there were some good promos and matches that helped build up the midcard feuds onto WrestleMania III."

[7.0] "Good edition of Wrestling Challenge, underlined by two strong in-ring affairs: The Can-Am Connection energizing the Civic Center with a fun five-minute showcase (squash of the night! ) and Tito / Barry putting on a solid, well-crafted short bout. Brutus Beefcake gave us another teaser of his face turn, hoping Piper will emerge victorious at WM III after Adonis mistakenly cut his hair last week. I'm a big fan of Jake, but his Snake Pit is slowly looking like the Temu version of Roddy Piper's talk show so far, especially with the guests he's been having lately."

[3.0] "The Wrestlemania III card is set and we are basically now just coasting until the big event is upon us. The only new development is a Brutus Beefcake promo where he says he hopes Piper makes Adonis a cue ball after he accidentally cut Brutus's hair during a recent six-man match. Never realized there was so much foreshadowing to Beefcake's face turn."

[7.0] "Better than average episode of Challenge. Best match was the Can Ams, in a very solid and surprisingly competitive tag with JJF and Gladiator. 'Mania hype is in full swing too, cool to see. And, of course, great commentary. GM: Honky Tonk Man is a poor imitation of Elvis Presley! BH: What do you mean? Elvis wasn’t a wrestler."
