[7.0] "The show started with the Halloween Battle Royal, which provided a true funny light-hearted atmosphere, spotlighting the hated stable Team BETA and giving credibility to one of their core opponents. The scramble match had a weak lineup but ended up delivering tremendously, making the obvious conclusion seem less certain. Ethan/Suge was very fun, with Ethan Page looking so much better in his goofy mode then trying to be a serious contender, and their comedy landed extremely well, but got cut short by the interference of Christian Rose and GPA. This lead to a much more serious tag match, again being kept smartly short and snappy, and a very valuable promo exchange that sets up a Loser Leaves Freelance match for the last show of the year. The fallout of the Beauty and The Beast gave us Rob Matter vs Stevie Fierce, with the positive being the marked improvement of Stevie Fierce's gear and look, leveling from awful to very decent, but the negative being the action, still very sloppy and overly ambitious for their skill level. Team BETA challenged their former member Isaias Velazquez, and he came up with two credible partners, and those six-men had an intense and quite crisp fight, with the babyface team getting a clean victory. Another 6-men tag followed, with a more comedic bent, but it gave a platform for the burgeoning Corino/Kobe/Brubaker faction to make an impact. The main event was a real treat, as Prince Mustafa Ali and Lio Rush are two of the best pure wrestlers Freelance has seen this year, and Mustafa Ali keeps on getting excellent title matches under his best and carrying the promotion forward has their main draw. The show ended on this very positive vibe, with a large range of tone from comic to serious, not always in the right places, but with a clear purpose for each match and fun action that just flew by. This was an absolutely fun night of wrestling and it nicely sets up nicely the final show of the year with a few important matches."
