The first hour or so was mostly filler but the show picks up 3/4ths of the way through. The commentary was better and more bearable compared to the last PPV. Easily best matches of the night were Ricochet vs El Ligero and Drew Galloway vs Rampage. Without these matches this show would definitely be deserving of a much lower score due to how most of the card was compiled of low caliber matches that lacked much meaning or consequence."

The DDT Ironman Heavymetal Championship is genius, and definitely had some fun moments! This show was just to show everyone that they had made it to the United States and put on a show there. They can learn from this show and improve it even more next year!"

"Not much of interest on WCPW's US debut Rampage (Brown) vs Drew Galloway for the World Championship was as good as that match always is (if interested, it can also be found on VOD/DVD via PBW, ICW and PCW)."

Joe Hendry sucks, and his match with matt striker was one the reasons this event was poor. State Of Emergency is the worst event WCPW EVER put. I hope they can bounce back from this crap event. I do not recommend watching this event."

[4.0] "The first several matches are essentially nothing to care about. All of them don't top **1/2, some worse. Putting the DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship on one of the WhatCulture personalities put a sour taste in my mouth. Striker vs Hendry was a good little feud but I didn't care about that match either. Fish vs Starr vs Elgin was a solid sprint, but only after several minutes of comedy; this match sadly underperformed given the talent in it (***). Ricochet vs Ligero underperformed as well, but was marginally better since the comedy was more minimal and the exchanges were alright (***, MAYBE ***1/4). Galloway vs Rampage was certainly MOTN, just two big, BIG lads slamming into each other and jocking for position with their size; the finish with the Backslide struggle into the Future Shock was fantastic (***1/2). A weak show, but if you like the men in the last 3 matches then perhaps give them a look."
