In the end, the Bulldogs' defeat is somehow unreal when you consider the immobility of their opponents. And that's about it again. What bothers me about this format so far is the fact that once matches are prominently scheduled, they are then mercilessly dumped."
[5.0] "When you look at the talent on this card it doesn't look like that exciting of an episode, but this was actually my favourite that I've seen so far. Orndorff facing Luscious Brown, who was Virgil before he got the gimmick was interesting to see. My favourite part of the show was finally the Snake Pit; this week it was with the Hart Foundation and was a load of fun. This show is also vaguely important as the Honky Tonk Man debuts on this show; painfully I might add as he was a hokey face at the start which was weird. My least favourite part of this show though was the Wizard and Sika visiting Samoa."
[5.0] "Orndorff squashes Virgil and Butch Reed squashes Shane Douglas in a decent episode of Wrestling Challenge, the '80s B show which occasionally advanced or started angles. It was kind of uneventful, except for Sheiky Baby and Volkoff getting a non-title win over the Bulldogs. But extremely forgettable."
[5.0] "Interessante und unterhaltsame Challenge-Ausgabe, wie immer cool das Gespann bestehend aus Heenan und Monsoon am Mikro. Der spätere Virgil als Jobber, der gleich bei der Vorstellung mal auf das zweite Ringseil springt und die Arme nach oben reisst, was ja absolut ungeöhnlich für einen Jobber ist. Der Honky Tonk Man mit seinem WWF TV-Debüt, leider wurde sein Einzug nicht gezeigt, was vermutlich seinen Grund hat. Als neues Babyface bekommt er sogar noch eine Unterstützungs-Promo vom Hulkster auf den Weg. Das Snake Pit-Segment mit der Hart Foundation bricht, zumindest bei meiner WWE 24/7-Fassung, früh ab, dafür ist das Segment mit dem Wizard und Sika auf Samoa komplett. Am Ende noch ein nettes Non Title Match. Die Promo von Steamboat in Bezug auf Roberts war auch noch gut."
[5.0] "Ok show, probably typical of the era. All the squashes are fine except the Honky Tonk match, which has HTM making his debut in the WWF, as a face no less, and his offense is about as bad as you might expect. Best squash was certainly Paul Orndorff, who mauled the future Virgil in a fun performance. The main event is passable though not very substantial. Very fun commentary though, as always from Heenan & Monsoon."
