[7.0] "Overall a good show that really picked up with the semi and the main . I don't understand the obsession with Ethan Page and associates always in squashes . His squash on this show was decent but it just kills the momentum of the show . Big crowd to start the weekend . Matches worth watching: Drew Galloway vs. Matt Riddle , Chris Dickinson vs. Timothy Thatcher (w/Stokely Hathaway) , Jaka vs. Jason Kincaid vs. Lio Rush , Austin Theory vs. Ethan Page (w/Blaster McMassive & Flex Rumblecrunch) , Keith Lee vs. Ricochet , Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. ACH and my top match was Catch Point (Fred Yehi & Tracy Williams) (c) vs. Donovan Dijak & Michael Elgin ."

[6.0] "This year's WWN shows were located in Fern Park - a 20 mile, and up to an hour's drive, from the convention center on International Drive. Whereas inside the venue looks like a miniture 'War Memorial coliseum' from Ft. Lauderdale, from the outside, and w/out any bleachers/floor seats, the venue looks like it was once used as stockyards, a trading house for cattle, etc. As one can tell by video, the size of the bleachers, as they extend further and further from the ring, consequentially have the effect of dimming the accumulated noise, and thus it was more difficult for the shows to gain a head-of-steam in contrast to 'La Boom' in Queens & 'the Orpheum' in Ybor. Due to this being the first show of the weekend, and having not seen many good acquaintances for a full year, I spent a bit of time hobnobbing instead of giving the matches my all as I do in almost all other circumstances. Going into the weekend, most people were of a common mindset that Drew would defeat Riddle tonight, but lose in the finals of the WWN Championship Elimination Match on Saturday night. The match was short, the hilight of which was having Drew piledrive Riddle through a table right in front of me. Dickinson staved off any further Galoway beating on Riddle seguing into the second match that I basically don't remember =ing it was another first-gear, lifeless Thatcher enounter. Though the surprise entry of L Rush in the third match enlivened the crowd and the match, I would have preferred the singles encounter w/ Jaka/Kincaid to see if Jaka's physical imposition on 'Namaste' would have been brutal/entertaining. The Gatekeepers/E Page then had profile matches. Rico/Lee was the best match of the evening, 3 1/3-3 1/2, as Rico's highly skilled dynamicism kept chopping away at the big man until he was chopped-down. Catch Point retained the titles by outwitting the bigger men w/ their technical acumen. ZSJ's main-event w/ ACH was fine, but it didn't 'wow' anyone."

[7.0] "A solid show with Drew/Riddle, Ricochet/Lee, and ZSJ/ACH being the standout matches. The rest was pretty dull (Page/Theory) to solid (Rush/Kincaid/Jaka. )"

[9.0] "Galloway vs Riddle was a hot, short, opener with a wild table bump (***1/4). Dickinson vs Thatcher was a great midcard match in a hybrid brawler/technical style that these two guys feel at home in (***1/2). Rush vs Jaka vs Kincaid was a very fun spotfest with some good memorable moments, and I think Jaka excelled here; Kincaid felt like he was holding back though, a lot of his best offense wasn't around here and I think if he was on all cylinders this could be 4 stars (***1/2). The Gatekeepers squash was nothing really. Page vs Theory was a little below average, pretty bland even (**). The Darby segment had a great idea but poor, drawn-out execution. Keith Lee vs Ricochet was as incredible as it sounded, with the big man vs flippy man thing not only doing great, but Keith using some agility and Ricochet using some strength was cool too; the things Keith can do with people to look like a monster is incredible, and Ricochet is likewise so good at making peoples' offense look great, so this came together as the best match of Mania week so far (****1/2). Catch Point vs Elgin & Dijak was a great mixture of all 4 guys, with Dijak vs Yehi being the matchup that clicked the most; big men just manhandling the technical brawlers, with Fred and Hot Sauce fighting back more and more and using their superior teamwork to retain, although I feel this went a tad long (****). ZSJ vs ACH was honestly just a very bland match; nothing bad outside of Zack's selling, but ACH's cool offense was the only thing that really propped it up here and there (***). Very nice show, but the main event was disappointing."

[4.0] "First show of the WM33 Weekend! Galloway/Riddle was a strong opener, just a fun brawl (***1/4), Dickinson/Thatcher was really good (***1/2), Jaka/Kincaid/Rush could've been an awesome spotfest, but I really didn't get into it - kinda disappointing (**), The Gatekeepers match was a squash (*), Page/Theory was easily the worst match of the night, it was very dull (*), Lee/Ricochet was the best match of the show - there were some spotty moments with Ricochet, but in the end it was a very good David vs. Goliath match up w/ Keith Lee looking impressive once again (***1/2), Catch Point vs. Dijak & Elgin was good - could've been better had it been a bit shorter though (***), ACH/ZSJ was good, but I expected & wanted it to be better (***). Overall an OK show, a little disappointing because some of the matches (ACH/ZSJ in particular) weren't as good as I wanted them to be."
