"A consistently entertaining if not first-rate couple of matches. Ospreay/Havoc: Will's elaborate entrance, and Bond meets Hitman w/ white tux & lethal impulse, is partially there to substitute sports-entertainment showmanship for actual sadism and success. Havoc's all-business and intutively knows how hardcore the Progress fans want their violence. And what follows is solid if lightweight, b/c in this fed Will's a bit of a joke, entertainment. The frivolity extended to both the mild 'fans bring the Weapons, ' & the mid-late match added stipulation, 'loser leaves Progress. ' Fun stuff but w/out the heft of their previous PROGRESS feud. *** 1/4 Andre/Dunne: I hope Pet-ER never discovers Tetracycline as that acne adds to the realism of his character. I enjoyed this much more than their spotty PWG match partially due to a better story that allowed Andre to shine as its their history that gives Mandrews heat as a challenger, not that I thought he was the top contender who would dethrone the Bruiserweight. Perhaps the WWE's tourney cemented my notion of these two on the hierarchy of talent. *** 1/3"
[10.0] "One of the better UK wrestling shows there'll be this year, outside of FCP's DTTI and possibly a RevPro show or two. Four matches breaking the **** threshold and a couple of Progress career-making performances. Banks-Sexsmith is a special match, as is Havoc-Ospreay. Dieter-Haskins and Walter-Riddle are all must watch, and it's worth noting that those four match of the night contenders all delivered in entirely different ways. Just a superb show to experience live, and once again Progress do a great job of capturing the experience on tape. Top stuff all round."
[7.0] "Good Show. The opener was fun, Toni Storm vs Dahlia Black was good, the best matches were the last 2, Riddle vs WALTER and Pete Dunne vs Mark Andrews"
[8.0] "Very fun wrestling show, some matches were better than others, but there wasn't a single bad match on this card. Havoc vs. Ospreay was fantastic, you could feel the hatred between these two men. Riddle vs. Walter was another highlight of the show, brutal match with some great in ring action from both men. The main event was a great way to close the show, I even enjoyed the booking of the match, with the interferences and the dusty finish. This was my first introduction to PROGRESS and afer watching this show, I'm definitely going to check out future and past events from the promotion. Best match: Jimmy Havoc vs. Will Ospreay. I loved this match, built in two parts: before the loser leaves PROGRESS stipulation and the after. The first one is more light-hearted, with a lot of fun spots with some crazy weapons. The second part is more serious, and elevated this match even more. Great match. Worst match: Mark Haskins vs. Axel Dieter Jr. This wasn't a bad match, it just wasn't anything special."
[9.0] "Origin vs Origin: Banter Edition was an ideal opener with a combo of comedy and heat; Gibson and Mastiff were great here (***1/4). Storm vs Black was a very solid little tourney match that did a good job at getting the crowd into it (**3/4). Sexsmith isn't all there in the ring, but he's got fire, and Banks did a wonderful job just laying it into him to get that sympathy (Sexsmith's entire body was red with welts) and make his offense look good; Jack brought the emotion, and Travis took that and transformed it into a great match, even with Jack looking clumsy at times (****). Haskins vs Dieter was just a good wrestling match with good back and forth, but once it turned into submissions was when it really got good, I thought, before a great finish (***3/4). The Fans Bring The Weapons match was built around Ospreay being THE biggest, edgiest, most annoying cunt on the planet, and dammit he did just that; the use of all the weapons placed under the ring was interesting and unique, and the story elements and mid-match promos ruled; a Destroyer off the top rope through a table being a normal nearfall is basically 2010s Indies: The Spot and I kinda hated that, but the carnage and emotion was beautiful (****1/4). BSS vs Hunters was just a basic tag title match with a few good moves and a bit of hotdogging tongue-in-cheek about BSS being signed to WWE (**3/4). WALTER was just incredible against Riddle in the Atlas match showing power and technical ability; Riddle on the other hand was good, but seemed to just work his usual match, and sometimes didn't sell his leg; while more "epic" than their 16 Carat encounter this was just slightly worse, but that means it was still great (****). Andrews/Dunne was just a match at first, then the interference came in and it got a tad hotter, but it was just a bunch of piledrivers (flipping sit-out tombstone was nuts) until the mediocre dusty finish which lead to some nearfalls; the crowd caring is the one major positive (***)."
[9.0] "This was a really tremendous show. The Origin vs. The Origin: BANTER Edition was a really fun opener (***1/2), Dahlia/Toni was good, they kept it intense throughout (***), Sexsmith/Banks was pretty good - thought that Travis Banks was really solid in it (**1/2), ADJ/Haskins was really good, some really good technical work between the 2 (***1/2), Havoc/Ospreay was also really, really good - they went a bit overboard w/ all the false finishes, but it was a still very enjoyable, intense grudge match (***1/2), the tag title match had some really good stuff in it, but also some not-so-interesting stuff - overall pretty good though (**3/4), Riddle/WALTER was just fantastic & an easy pick for MOTN (****1/4), Mandrews/Peter was a very good main event - funny enough I actually thought that all the overbooking in the end actually helped the match (***1/2)."
