[7.0] "This show has gotten a bit stale. Dario Cueto is still great as ever, but the matchups and characters involved have grown tiresome. You can only have Puma fight Muertes so many times or Fenix fighting Azteca before you want a different meal. I realize Puma and Muertes haven't' fought that many times, but they're becoming oversaturated, which makes it feel like they have. Decent episode, but not the best."

The three way was just a great spot fest that you would expect from those three guys, ****. The main event was great as Puma finally gained his momentum back, ****1/4."

[6.0] "This episode was entertaining. Match of the night for me was the three way between Aero Star, Drago & Fenix. I would have liked to see Killshot vs. Matanza to get a little more time, seeing as they looked to have really good chemistry. I was personally disappointed by the main event, the only thing that was worth a watch in that match was the really cool dive from Puma onto Muertes from the stairs."

[10.0] "Great episode. The Opener was good with the debut of AR Fox to Lucha Underground but the next two matches were amazing. Definitely the best episode of the season (so far)"

[8.0] "Finally the strong episode I was waiting for from the beginning of Season 3. The first match is okay, usual title defense, Drago vs Fenix vs Aero Star is really good, action all over between three great wrestlers. The main event is the high spot of the show, a rematch from Ultima Lucha, not too long (10 minutes), it delivers and has a great conclusion."

[9.0] "Great episode. Matanza/Killshot was an excellent opener, and the appearance of AR Fox signifies good things for LU. Both the triple threat match and the main event were really great, both in terms of action and gradual character development. Nice vignettes as well, as always!"

[8.0] "A far better episode than last week though I can't be as enthusiastic as most as I feel the filmmaking has increasingly crossed into a hyper-edited directorial style that I don't find in the least appealing. All the wipes and criss-crossing in tandem with the unique angles (ie. sky-cam from both the ring and outside the temple) LU is famous for can sometimes displeasingly disrupt my pleasure. Anyway, the night started out strong with Matanza defeating yet another challenger to his belt, Killshot, in a short but hot opener with fine storytelling as the remnants of Killshot's battle with Marty 'the Moth' slowed down Ks just enough so the big-move aerial assault was a non-factor and M had time to hit a big roaring European and then 'Wrath of the Gods' for the win. Afterwards, a choir boy formerly known as A. R. Fox walked like an otherworldly spirit into the ring for a most awkward reunion. (There I thought Foxy's acting was better than Strickland tho neither were superb. ) In other non-Recommended material, nice early season 1 resurrection but if I'm Johnny Mundo why am I not using the 94, 000 against the real champ Matanza and instead on (some well-connected yuck) Sexy Star? It's good to see Chavo, who looks alright for 67, as some ancient footage of him vs. Piper from the 70s in LA remain near/dear. I can only hope/pray that I see his son for the last time when the inevitable 'Loser leaves LU' match w/ Rey Rey occurs."

[10.0] "Best episode of S3 so far and honestly one of their best of the whole series. All 3 matches were enjoyable, with each getting progressively better. Matanza vs Killshot was a fun opener the crowd was hot for. AR Fox looked like a total badass, this storyline should be awesome. Triple threat was really fun with a surprising winner. Mundo and Dario segment was great. Main event was really great and the after credit scene was also good. No weak points, all good stuff"

[10.0] "Best episode of Season 3 thus far. Great progression on about half-a-dozen angles on this show, with three great matches. Killshot vs Matanza was probably the best match I've seen this year that went under 5 minutes; the crowd was going crazy for every bit of offense the wounded soldier gave, and Matanza's monster heel control segments are still the best (****). The debut of Dante Fox after the match was well-done and made a feud we know little about seem personal and heated from the start. Fenix vs Aerostar vs Drago seemed a bit sloppy, even after editing, but it was still a very exciting three-way match with some interesting work around each other and a surprise finish (***1/2). The Drago/Kobra segment teased some interaction between them and gave backstory, and also reminded us that Vinnie Massaro exists for some reason. Mundo bribing Dario with the money he won early in Season 1 is incredible continuity that I love. The main event was a great match that felt like both characters had changed since Ultima Lucha 1. Puma knows Mil better now, and has a mean streak that is finally sinking in after it began later last season. The match ended simply and effectively: Puma got the win he so desperately wanted back. Fantastic hour of wrestling and storytelling here; Season 3 is starting to build steam."
