[7.0] "Ellsworth antics very entertaining though not living up to last week's. Also impressive was the very fun 6-man tag and, surprisingly, the segment between Nikki and Carmella in which they both came off well. Not special, but Smackdown is a consistently enjoyable watch most weeks with only minor drawbacks."

[4.0] "The best color to describe the tone/mentality of this show is a very vanilla beige or a very beige vanilla b/c this is some dull, unedgy stuff. Certainly there was storyline continuity, as 'gav26' stated, but the presentation left a lot to be admired. I don't mind the AJ/Ellsworth encounter if there are other segments on the show that offer nutrient-filled meat. But there weren't, both in terms of an in-ring product and on the mic. Furthermore, I'm finding it increasingly ironic that Daniel Bryan is the GM of this product, but then again he is a Bella so I guess we should no longer have any expectations. There's not a shread of anything Orton/Wyatt will do that will entertain me. I don't think either A Bliss nor Naomi should be having the longest (traditional) match of any show. I was slightly amused by both Curt Hawkins's reluctance to wrestle while sticking to his character's mannerisms as well as Natalya's desperation to 'dance with somebody' as she's become a forgotten member of the roster. Poor Jack Swagger thinking Smackdown would be a new beginning... 1:39 dude. The years may change but the WBF mentality still thrives in this superficial world; does the Harvard-trained tool realize that most bodybuilders like himself, of whom I've known several, suffer from either a vanity complex or massive insecurity and thus quotes like 'Ellsworth has the body of an eighth grader, ' (hairlessness does not equal age, ) are not just disconnnected but oddly awry. 3. 75"

[6.0] "The reason the ratings are so low for what was a decent show is too many wrestling fans are morons who only care about oh holy s*** moments. Those moments should mostly be for PPV's since more fans from around the world supposedly watch. As I've said before, weekly shows are primarily for building up to the next PPV and SD did a decent job of that this week. Many complain about the short time the women get but Alexa and Naomi went at it for more than 10 minutes and they still complain. Thought they would be happy the white chick won avenging a earlier loss to Naomi and now can face Becky on November 8th for the SD women's title with momentum. Never cared for the Spirit Squad but the "Chinless Wonder" James Ellsworth continues to surprise us. So there was both good and bad this week but decent overall and certainly not as bad as many are saying.."

The entire roster may not always get on the show each week but each segment I found did their job just. If this show didn't do it for you, i'm just not sure why you'd even being following weekly wrestling shows."

Corbin Vs Swagger was a complete DUD. Ellsworth Vs Styles was the worst TV main event we have had all year. Such disrespect to the champ and the championship."

[8.0] "I really don't understand why there are so many low grades here. What was so wrong with this week's SmackDown? Orton and Wyatt continued their story, and yes it is a little bit weird that we're seeing that kind of storyline in 2016, but I don't have many problems if it is fun and this was fun. Carmella i Nikki got some time to shine on the mic and they were good - they have better feud than Charlotte and Sasha at this moment; Six Man Tag was good, Corbin looked great, I was a bit confused with Hawkins segment, but we'll see where that goes. And finally the main event was really well done. Ambrose was entertaining through the whole match, Styles played his role well and that nearfall for Ellsworth was awesome. Very good episode of SmackDown once again."

[10.0] "Again, I'm baffled at the low ratings for Smackdown each week. It's hardly a perfect show, but it's designed to build to the next show (as opposed to Raw shoving as much as they can into the weekly product without actually advancing anything) and it does that well. VERY well. Listen to how active and loud the crowd is on this show. They're hot for Orton, they're hot for KANE, they're hot for Slater, they are INCREDIBLY Hot for Ellsworth. The Ellsworth thing is incredible booking because it forwards this Styles/Ambrose feud by investing the crowd in this lowly jobber that AJ picked out as an easy opponent. It establishes so much about AJ's character as champion and gives the real title feud a lot more heat. I also thought the segment at the beginning was good stuff and was legitimately surprised at the way they brought Kane back after his disappearance last week. In addition, since it's not a separate page on here, Talking Smack was incredible last night. Hype Bros were hilarious, Styles was forceful and got a match booked for next week, and Corbin cut the promo of his life and set his character up perfectly; you understand why he does what he does now. Smackdown's incredible competence with booking is something to behold each week, and it makes me want to watch each show, while I've dropped Raw entirely. A 10/10 rating because there's no way this was anywhere near a 3/10 show."

[5.0] "Mediocre episode, they just continued with what they've been doing. Solid storyline continuity, nothing special but nothing pointless either. God knows where Orton vs Wyatt is heading, some weeks it's been poor, then confusing, then intriguing. Liked what they did with Corbin, hopefully they are building him to be a major player come Survivor Series. Nikki/Carmella segment felt forced, but their mic delivery was solid. Finally yet again you either loved or hated the Ellsworth programme."
