[10.0] "Dragunov vs Bad Bones was a hard-hitting match that rekindled a feud from last year; Ilja would not die and persevered in order to land the Torpedo Moskau to win; the tumble to the outside was crazy (***1/2). WALTER vs Riddle was incredibly well put-together for a sub-10 minute match with fantastic striking and downright GNARLY work on Riddle's foot; the only negative is that Riddle wasn't really selling the foot when it wasn't worked on (****). Gunns vs Kanemoto was a feud built within the context of the weekend and this paid it off well; the cocky young punk tried to take it to the veteran but got kicked and slapped into a oblivion while being outclassed on the mat, and so he got a cheeky rollup win (***1/4). The gauntlet match was just some solid tag wrestling that was mostly just a storytelling tool, but it did its job there (***). Shotgun 4-Way was better than the previous night's; the 3 face/1 heel dynamic was interesting and made the title change work really well (***3/4). Alpha Kevin vs Beethoven was pretty brutal, and you could see the hatred between them; I loved some of the storyteling here (the way Kevin hits Beethoven with the crutch is the same as when Beethoven hit him with it, if you remember the video package from before), and the spot that ended the match was fucking ISANITY (***3/4). ACH & Speedball vs Dijak & Dunn was a very well-structured tag that Cody's manager shtick only added to (****1/4). Ilja Dragunov was made a star by WALTER in the tournament final. The brutality he absorbed and fire he showed against WALTER's increasingly-annoyed and disgusting offense combined with pitch-perfect psychology made this a special match that culminated the entire tournament; an absolute modern classic (*****). An incredible show that had so much payoff of the entire weekend of wrestling and for the most part got better as it went on. Magnificent execution from wXw."

[1.0] "Dragunov/Klinger was a very meh opener, really nothing good or interesting about it (*), Riddle/WALTER was a fun slugfest, best singles match of the night (***1/4), Gunns/Kanemoto was very forgettable, really wish that Kanemoto would've worked the veteran-beating-the-crap-out-of-the-younger-dudes formula more during this weekend (*), the tag gauntlet was for the most part very forgettable, but I did like Paul London's selling of The Avalanche's offense (*1/4), Kevin/Beethoven was yet another very forgettable match (*), ACH & Speedball vs. Dijak & Dunn was the MOTN - really liked it, ACH's hot tag was absolutely tremendous, really can't praise it enough (***1/2), the story of Ilja Dragunov vs. WALTER sounded very good on paper, but the actual in ring execution of it wasn't very interesting - far from the worst match of the night though (**). Much like Night 2 of 16 Carat Gold '17, Night 3 was overall a pretty weak show. Riddle/WALTER was good & the 2-on-2 tag match was very good, but rest of the matches were all super forgettable."
