[6.0] "Though I thought DG & TT were careful to avoid injury from last night's 'No Ropes' match, TT, experienced a severe concussion obviously making him unavailable for tonight's show. Combine that and the # of Evolve wrestlers who had either recently left or will soon depart the promotion, WWE/205, and this roster is looking mighty thin. But as I'm a fan of the Jaka from the 'Wrestling Is' shows, I would indeed appreciate seeing more of the guy J Styles (not missed) stated reminded him of Haku. D Allin may have an Evolve contract, but if he's going to continue to be a flubber, then he's going to continue to JOB in short order like tonight. In a rare appearance outside Chikara's world, Icarus put in a fine show but was out-charmed by the quirky Kincaid. Page/Dickinson lumbered about to little response until the 'Dirty Daddy' hit a top-rope Frankensteiner. Unfortunately, these first 3 matches were all medicore but the action and the crowd respectfully perked up for the pristine science of ZSJ & Gulak. The end was lovely as both men knew enough about each other to counter, but some reversals place one in more vulnerable spots than others, as ZSJ found out. C Hero wrestled his 9th and 10th matches in 10 days, on two continents no less. The first, against a man who got 'Bro' over better in a few months than Roddy did in years, was a bruiser w/ Hero necessitating 3 differing pdrivers to pin Riddle. The cluster that set-up the main event meant the show had already climaxed. 5. 5"

[8.0] "Nice, fun show here. Great singles debut for Jaka in the semi-squash opener against Darby (**3/4). Kincaid vs Icarus was an odd matchup, but it worked well enough and showed off more crazy Kincaid offense that I love (***1/4). Page vs Dickinson was basically nothing, I skipped most of it. ZSJ vs Gulak got a lot of hype, but it didn't really do much for me; it was well-worked, yes, in terms of having smooth mat wrestling that kept itself varied over 20+ minutes, but outside of that it didn't captivate me at all, when I know matches that go for this structure absolutely can (*** to ***1/4). Hero vs Riddle III was an awesome match will callback spots and psychology that bumped it up to being incredible (****1/2). The main event had a lot of stories going in and out of it and lead to some good sequences and action; the title change was well-done and is leading to a Gulak vs Catch Point story which is interesting (***3/4). Perhaps not as good as 72 overall, but still worth seeing, particularly both Hero matches, and maybe the first two matches if you just want to see Jaka and/or Kincaid do stuff."
