[8.0] "This wasn't the best or the most consistent EVOLVE show of the year, but it did feature two of the best EVOLVE matches of 2016 in Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Tracy Williams and Chris Hero vs. Drew Gulak. The rest of the card ranged between inoffensive and pretty good (with the exception of Thatcher/Page, which I decided to skip based on reviews). The main event was a bit of an odd style clash between Riddle and AR Fox, and it couldn't follow Sabre/Williams or Hero/Gulak as the main event, but I can't give a show with two matches that good less than an 8."

[7.0] "While I think it would have been a better show with the volume off due to thew dead crowd I still enjoyed most of it . The show definitely gave the feel of a company in a rebuilding phase due to the recent "relationship" with WWE . Looks more like a glorified talent raid to man a division that they will probably lose interest in in a year or two . Title match was bad but everything after that was pretty good . Matches worth watching : Anthony Henry vs. Darby Allin , Jason Kincaid vs. Nathan Cruz , Chris Hero vs. Drew Gulak , DUSTIN vs. Fred Yehi , AR Fox (w/Drew Galloway) vs. Matt Riddle and my top match was Tracy Williams (w/Fred Yehi) vs. Zack Sabre Jr."

[5.0] "I have felt and partaken in the lifeless void that are Evolve's Orlando shows... one, but it was at the tail end of running the Barnett Gymnasium so I got more abuse from the wrestlers than my sole appearance would justify. But at least this weekend the Ybor City show in the amazing Orpheum is the second of the two-night stand as even w/out knowing the card I assume it will be better as this show would have kept me on my hands most of the night. D Allin is the new guy getting the push but Anthony Henry (who? ) dominated most of the match. I've never been into Progress's N Cruz and his E Page-like heel vibe here just grates and not entertains. Dustin went through the offensive motions before tapping to Yehi's quality Koji-clutch. The Thatcher title defense was rightfully overbooked as even in the pre-intermission slot it felt like a main-event's worth of action. ZSJ earned his victory enduring some awkward, harsh T Williams offense incl. getting the back of his head slammed off of TW deadlifting ZSJ from the latter's triangle choke application. ZSJ amazes with his graceful, silky ease and T Will's grind-it-out gruel clashed here. Hero/Gulak is typically a slog and this was no different as the match only put DG over as a gutty underdog and not as the vocal assertive leader of a team. The main event wasn't long but was the most entertaining as well as a keen application of giving your top babyface a credible main event victory over an unique opponent."
