[4.0] "Some good matches and the main was entertaining but a lot of bad stuff , Technical issues made it a difficult watch . Ross and Corenette tried but they did not know the product . They did better with the main . Matches worth watching : Alberto El Patron vs. El Ligero vs. Travis Banks , Cody Rhodes vs. Doug Williams , Joseph Conners (c) vs. Martin Kirby and my top match was Joe Hendry vs. Kurt Angle ."

[7.0] "Overall not a bad show with a few really good matches, some average and one really bad match. So far WCPW is a decent promotion but nothing spectacular especially compared to some of the stronger U. K. promotions like Progress and ICW."

[7.0] "Minoru Suzuki Vs Joe Coffey ***1/2. El Ligero Vs Alberto El Patron Vs Travis Banks **3/4. Cody Rhodes Vs Doug Williams **1/2. Rampage Vs Adam Blampied *. Nixon Newell Vs Kimber Lee DUD. Joseph Conners Vs Martin Kirby ****. Kurt Angle Vs Joe Hendry ***1/4. Pretty fun show. Opening match was very good. Internet title match was solid but could have been better. Same for Rhodes/Williams. Street fight was nothing wrestling wise but was fun seeing Adam almost die. Conners/Kirby was great and ending was very good. Angle/Hendry was good. Very fun back and forth action. Overall 7/10."

[8.0] "Okay, this was an awesome iPPV despite the glitches. Would have rated this higher if some of the booking made sense like Bret Hart coming out and announcing a tag title match that didn't happen. It's nice to see JR and Cornette on the announce booth but Alex Shane really felt like the odd man out in that commentary team. Again I wished they didn't bury Coffrey... :/ And that awkward botch at the end of the women's match... But over all this is a pretty great iPPV. Makes me optimistic about the future of WCPW."

Best Match of the event was the match for the title of WCPW was good match and Martin Kirby will be a future champion because are Super Over with the crowd. Women's match was a disaster, lot of botches. The Street Fight was Very Bad but the rest of the show was a Ok. Average Show PD: The Video Package are AWESOME!"

[6.0] "Considering the extraordinary budget it took to produce this independent show I felt obliged to order it as to contribute in someway. After an inauspicious, desultory, platitudinous start with Mr. Perky, Bret 'Lurchman' Hart, the show's first bout was a professional beat-up job of M Suzuki on J Coffey. I'm uncertain if any 'rub' was achieved as it seemed only 25% of the crowd knew the nihonjin but... A dapper JR sounds good but it's clear Cornette has done the better research of the two as toolish, lacking credibility JR can only talk about/get behind the former WWE stars. The 3-way for the Internet championship was fast-paced but not memorable. WCPW has done a fine job of providing (overlong) video packages for tonight's matches... and Williams/Rhodes is no different. Thus far Cody has social network'd promoters into hiring him... we'll see if he develops an interesting persona. JR: 'A main event wrestling star, ' I don't think so. Keen entr. music for a heel manager Mr. 643 pounds CK panty-wearing Blampied. I didn't see the Chikara title defense but this women's title contest was botch-filled (C Destroyer/double-armed German. ) Is E Burke in town cause if so, no action for Jack the Jobber. As most stated, Connors/Kirby was the best bout of the eve despite the cheap end, but why is the undersized face challenger low-blow'in the plain Roode-lite heel champ? Cute Hendry entrance but I preferred Angle's actual matwrestling with ZSJ than these overstuffed 9 mins."

Too much focus on the Adams at the expense of actual wrestlers, probably the least enjoyable British IPPV this year which is saying a lot when you look at the others that have run. Hopefully they learn from this, as I really wish I could enjoy WCPW more than I do."

[6.0] "Most people from what I saw ordered via the WhatCulture Extra service, and saw pretty much none of the show due to problems with the iPPV stream. I ordered via FITE TV, and cast it through my Roku stick, and it streamed perfectly on my TV. The event was fine, nothing must-see, and only Rampage/Blampied was poor, but it wasn't designed to be a standout match, more a prolonged angle. Conners/Kirby was the best match on the show, until a hackneyed Attitude Era finish with Adam Pacitti turning on Kirby. Coffey/Suzuki was pretty good (although JR kinda mailed it in as he did all night, and didn't know who El Desperado was), the three way was good, but better when Ligero and Banks were in there, and Newell/Lee was promising to be very good, but then the ending got very confusing. Angle/Hendry did its job in getting Hendry over in defeat, but it followed the recent Kurt Angle match formula to a tee. Just a shame that for a lot of people, the WhatCulture Extra fiasco put a lot of people off ever ordering another WCPW iPPV show."
