[5.0] "The show starts with Dragon Azteca Jr. and Rey Mysterio training in a ring and talking about Dragon letting revenge go, as him and Rey have other mission. At that moment Chavo Guerrero enters the ring and talks to them about the Guerrero way. Then we move to the ring to see Cueto rolling Dario's Dial of Doom again to determine a new challenger to Matanza's title. This time is The Mack. The match was good in the sense that keeps putting over Matanza as this unbeatable beast, but at the same time makes Mack look strong in defeat with some great moves. After that, we see a segment with Son of Havoc in his house recovering while seeing Famous B adds alongside Mascarita Sagrada. They talk about making a plan to take out Mascarita's former manager. Then Johnny Mundo storms into Dario's office demanding a title match against his brother, but Cueto tells him to think on the trios titles. Mundo doesn't care and says all him and the world cares about him becoming world champion. Taya will take Mundo's place in the main event. After that, Cage and Texano are going to fight. Cueto tells them that the match will be for the Ultimate Opportunity. Cage wins in an average match, it was just kind of there. It seemed that Cage had won the ultimate opportinuty, but Cueto doing one of his usual swerves announces it will be determined in a best of five. I don't like it, but hopefully it will get better in the future. Dragon Azteca demands a match against Pentagon to Dario and he pencils it down as he thinks it will get violent. After that Ricky enters the office to ask for a match, but Cueto refuses and gives him some weird pictures. Then Chavo enters and tells Dario they have to talk. then we move to the main event with the Dream Team of Mexican Lucha Libre successfully defending the trios titles against Worldwide Underground. I didn't like it. Mainly because of the weird storyline in the heel ranks. Why Jack Evans was acting as an angry child with his partners. There's no reason. The match was more centered on Evans doing that than on the in-ring action so it felt like a waste of time. I liked Aero Star's performance a lot. After the match Johnny Mundo enters the ring and attacks the champs until Seyx Star makes the save. The show ends with Dario Cueto and Rey Mysterio talking. Dario tells him that his pupil has asked him for a match against Pentagon. He tells Rey he doesn't think Dragon Azteca is ready, so instead he has booked a match between Chavo and Dragon, for the right to have a grudge match against Pentagon. Rey will be the guest referee. I didn't like this show that much, the first match was good, but the two others weren't. At least the video packages were entertaining and it advanced some storylines for the future episodes."

[5.0] "Felt like a filler episode to build up for the more interesting storylines. Opener was fun with Mack taking Matanza to the limit similarly to last week, ***1/2. Cage vs Texano was fine, but I think they can do something better, ***1/2. Main event was alright with the heels just being lame as usual, ***1/2."

[6.0] "Decent show and all the matches where good but nothing special . Taya kept the main from being a better match than it was . Matches worth watching : all of them and my top match was The Monster Matanza Cueto (w/Dario Cueto) (c) vs. The Mack ."

[6.0] "There were elements strewn about this episode that didn't sit as comfortably as in the past. Rusty repetition is strewn throughout Matanza's championship not only in the way most Season 2 and all of Season 3's defenses are, respectively, the same formula (domination in S02 and Matanza taking all of the challenger's shots before hitting 'The Wrath of the Gods' in S03, ) and twice in three episodes the show has started off with the same ol' Dario in the ring, spinning the wheel, etc. Though familiar to AAA audiences, Brian Cage/El Texano is too new of a match-up for Dario to strew up from his ass this random gimmick that isn't sitting well with this audience member due to WWE's recent non-finish to the unneeded Cesaro/Sheamus best of 7. (BTW.. Striker used the idiom 'strewn across' and it recalled to mind one of U2's most famous songs) Son of Havoc's quirky cool has evaporated thanks to the scene, and in LU they really are scenes and not skits, with his 'mother. ' The announcers, having not watched the earlier scene with Mondo/Cueto, spent the whole match wondering about Mundo's no-show while ignoring J Evans whose own non-participation might have cost his team the match. OK... a positive to close - I dig some of LU's camera angles especially the over-the-top, 105 degree shot above the SW buckle... both to the right and the center... that and the edit made Fenix's Yakuza kick looked awesome"

[6.0] "This episode was solid but nothing more, bit disappointing. Mack/Matanza was solid in terms of action but it's so strange to see Matanza take so much offense just from any random guy. Cage dragged Texano to something reasonable but the fact that they must do it 4 more times is not ideal, Texano has just not gelled at all in LU. Main event was the best match, enjoyable but not too much to write home about, some character stuff for WWU but nothing clear or especially intriguing. Some nice vignettes though, plenty of interesting stuff that will no doubt be important..."

[7.0] "Two good matches and a more than good main event. The storylines are really interesting, the Ultimate Opportunity is a good way to put a focus on the series of matches between Cage an Texano. A big LOL for the segment with Mascarita Sagrada and Son Of Havoc."

[9.0] "Really awesome episode. Every match was fun and every vignette done great. Matanza vs Mack was a really fun, hot opener. Mack was very impressive ***1/2. Cage vs Texano was a good start to their best of 5 series and told a good story of Texano not being able to keep up with Cage ***. The trios title match was super fun and also told a great story with WWU not being able to get along. Some really cool spots and of course a hot crowd ***3/4. The ending vignette was done well also. Great show"
