I don't know who thought having a ppv of only gimmick no DQ matches was a good idea, but here we are in WCW in 1995. This show has legitimately three of the worst matches I have ever seen in my life on it, and the rest are hardly better. The sting match isn't bad actually, but the rest is so horrible it doesn't matter. Bobby Heenan is at least funny sometimes. You gotta wonder what he was thinking throughout this crapola. The tag match is a concession stand brawl with guys slip sliding all over the place and it legitimately made me laugh out loud it was so silly looking. The main event is dumb but Ric Flair in makeup vs a ripoff Ultimate Warrior is funny as well. All in all, this ppv is such shit I can't recommend it to anyone. Avoid at all costs. |

Also Mero waits for the end of the match to take off his gloves, even though he could just not wrestle in them at all, Onoo is constantly confused what is legal in Meng's and Duggan's bout, The Nasties' meeting with Harlem Heat doesn't have the finish captured and the main event doesn't even have a referee. There are no good moments here, the closest to being something decent is Bubba vs Sting, but overall it's just a horrible, badly booked mess with everybody being confused what even was the purpose of the PPV's gimmick. |

Traurigerweise kommt in der Folge auch nichts mehr, was es sich lohnt anzusehen, am ehesten noch eine mittelmäßige Partie zwischen Sting und Traylor. An dieser Stelle hat die WCW eine ganz gefährliche Richtung eingeschlagen, hier gibt es nahezu kein Wrestling, sondern nur schwache Performances überbezahlter Altstars. Mero ist auf dieser Card die einzige Ausnahme, aber auch den zieht es ja wenig später Richtung Norden. Abhaken, das war nichts. |

Match 1 - The king of the road match, wasn't really a match and involved action that you just could not see and was very clunky. Match 2 - Awful attempt at comedy which made everyone look bad. Match 3- 2nd best match on the show... and that's saying something. The gimmick was okay but not utilized in the correct manner. Match 4- An overbooked mess - The whole theme of the show was it being uncensored and that there were no DQ's and then there was a DQ in this match? Match 5 - Match of the night - Actually enjoyed this bout - maybe because it featured ACTUAL WRESTLING on a WRESTLING PPV. Match 6 - basically a foodfight - commentary talk up how they have several cameras to follow the action... yet the cameraman missed the deciding pinfall - LAME. Match 7- Renegade just looked like a bad copy of Ultimate Warrior here, a real shame to see Flair jobbing all over the place and the dodgy finish was just awful! |

It starts off with one of the worst stipulations ever, where Blacktop Bully and Dustin Rhodes stumble about in a moving truck for 13 minutes. Savage/Avalanche is a bit slow and has a DQ finish in a No DQ match, says it all about the state of booking at that time. Rodgers/Sting is the only decent bout on the card, nothing special but it is an ok watch. Texas Tornado tag team match is a total mess, although it is kinda funny at times. The main event is amongst the most wasted opportunities ever, horrendus booking , way too many run-ins and the worst finish of the whole show, with Hogan beating Vader, by not beating Vader, but Flair instead. Awful show, avoid at all costs. |

How the fuck can you win a 4 corners match when the opponent isnt even connected to the strap. I'm begging yall do not watch this, it's not even fun anyway you put it. Das einzig positive was man über dieses Match sagen kann ist, dass es für damals halt schon innovativ war und den Vorläufer der Cinematches darstellte. Das Match selbst war aber absolut langweilig und dann auch noch aufgrund des verbotenen Bladings zerschnitten. Das Match war aber immer noch besser, als das was dann folgen sollte nämlich ein MMA Match, dass nichts mit MMA zu tun hatte und in dem Selling ein Fremdwort war. Als sei das nicht alles schon schlimm genug folgte ein Wreslter vs Boxer Match, bei welchem der Boxer selbst Wrestler war. Savage gegen Avalanche war dann halt einfach da - bis zum schlechten Finish. Das dieses selbst schlechte Match das zweitbeste der Show war, sagt eine Menge über das Event aus. Sting und Bubba Rogers zeigten danach ein ziemliches Standard TV Match, welches okay war - und damit das ganz klare MOTN. Danach ging es gleich wieder mit Unsinn weiter im Co ME inklusive Essensschlacht. Was dann jedoch im ME folgen sollte setzte dem Ganzen die Krone auf. Dieses Leather Strap Match ist eines der schlechtesten Matches, die ich je gesehen habe: Grauenvolles Overbooking, keinerlei Struktur, keinerlei wrestlerische Qualität - das war echt grausam. Echt grausam war die Show auch insgesamt. Diese Show war die schlechteste WCW Show die ich je gesehen habe und auch eine der schlechtesten überhaupt. Es gab ein einziges okayes Match und das einzig andere ertragbare Match wurde noch durch ein Finish verhunzt. Der Rest war stellenweise kaum noch als Wrestling identifizierbar. Diese Show hat nichts Anderes als 0 Punkte in meinen Augen verdient. |

Meng vs Duggan war fast genauso schlimm. Vom Boxer vs Wrestler Match hatte ich schon eine ähnliche Gülle erwartet, wurde jedoch positiv überrascht, da Arn und Mero dieses auf dem Papier dumme Gimmick in ein unterhaltsames showmanship-Match verwandeln konnten und meiner Meinung nach das beste Match des Abends lieferten. Was leider bei dieser Veranstaltung nicht viel heißt. Savage, Sting, Tenta und Bossman können dann einigermaßen ansehnliche Matches liefern, aber mehr auch nicht. Dann kommt ein weiterer Tiefpunkt mit dem berüchtigten Senf- und Ketchup-Match zwischen Harlem Heat und den Nasties. Als Kind fand ich das klasse, aber als Kind findet man auch rülpsen und furzen klasse. Absoluter Müll. Gleiches gilt dann für den Main Event, der mit das dümmste Booking aufweist, dass man im Wrestling finden kann. Dieser Main Event war ein Paradebeispiel dafür, warum schlechtes WCW Booking heutzutage ein Running Gag unter Wrestling Fans geworden ist. Die Sachen die in dieser Company zum Teil gebookt wurden findet man so aller Höchstens nur noch bei TNA, aber ansonsten ist das einzigartig in seiner Blödsinnigkeit. Dieser PPV schlägt für meinen Geschmack sogar den King of the Ring des selben Jahres als schlechtester PPV des Jahres. Der KOTR war unerträglich langweilig. Uncensored hingegen war stellenweise schon fast beleidigend schlecht. * 1/4 |

Sting gegen Rogers kommt für mich etwas zu spät. Hätte man schon bei Starrcade bringen können. Match selbst war das "Beste! ? " an diesen Abend. (1 1/2*) 6. Der Street Fight ist dermaßen lächerlich. Anstatt die vier vom Ketchup & Co. weggehen, rutschen sie lieber eine gefühlte Viertelstunde darauf aus. Und Sherri bekommt auch einiges ab, wo ich mich frage ob das geplant war. (3/4* - auch wegen der Komik) 7. ME siehe Guide. Absolute Frechheit. Das war Trash pur. Angefangen vom Opener bis zum ME. Dieser demontiert gleich die Top Heels. In der heutige Zeit würde Hogan keinen Stich mehr machen, mit einer solchen Darstellung als Newcomer. Für was braucht Hogan überhaupt Hilfe, wenn er alle allein zerstört. Das TT Match war auch so ein Trash. Der WCW Booker müsste nach dem PPV gleich gefeuert werden und mit einem nassen Handtuch verkloppt werden. Grauenhaft. |

The main event, while not a great match in a traditional sense, had so many moving parts that it was good chaotic fun to watch. And while the Harlem Heat vs. Nasties wasn't really good, it did come closest to matching the "extreme" theme they were going for (big points off for the camera missing the finish though). The martial arts and boxer vs. wrestler matches could be avoided. Arn/Badd is probably as good as it could have been with a really stupid stipulation. It's pretty dull a times, but Arn tries to make it interesting with some good bumping and stooging. Savage/Avalanche was actually pretty good until the unbelievably stupid finish, where Flair appears in drag (full makeup and nail polish! ) to attack Savage, and somehow the match ends in a DQ despite repeated statements that there are no DQs on this show. Rogers/Sting was actually decent but way below potential, it ended up dragging badly in places. Harlem Heat/Nasty Boys is pretty bad, the Nastys employ some of their grossest tactics and keep trying to brutalize Sherri despite supposedly being babyfaces, and they quickly migrate to the "concession stand", where they slide ridiculously around on the slick floor until the match ends... somehow, I honestly have no idea how because nobody seems to get pinned or give up. The main event is awful, damaging to everyone involved and nonsensical in every way. This is a horrible era for WCW, far worse than anything from the previous years. |

The first two matches are almost unwatchable and the Television Championship is actually less entertaining than the promos before it. The midcard is actually not too terrible – Savage/Avalanche and Sting/Bubba may not be Match of the Year candidates, but they’re solid and, with the right finish, could actually be viewed as better-than-average. The final match of the show is not everyone’s cup of tea, with several writers calling it one of the worst matches of all time. I found it exciting, though, the same way the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer did (he also gave it a 3. 5 star rating). The in-ring work might not be too impressive, but there is action going on on every part of the screen at all times. The match has no dull moment, no single second when someone, whether its Flair, Vader, Hogan, Renegade, or even Jimmy Hart, Arn Anderson, and Randy Savage isn’t doing SOMETHING. For some, it is a hard match to watch, but for me, it’s a hard match NOT to watch. It is chaos the same way a Three Stooges cartoon is chaos. UnCensored features the good, the bad, and the ugly and part of the fun is figuring out what is what. |

Bis auf Sting/Rogers, das zwar nicht überragend war, aber eine nette In-Ring Story bot, war das eine absolute Katastrophe. King Of The Road war kein Match, sondern ein wandelndes (oder eher fahrendes) Gimmick-Monster. Martial Arts hat den Namen nicht verdient, denn viel gabes davon nicht zu sehn. Boxer vs. Wrestler hat dann den PPV komplett ad absurdum geführt, da jedes Gimmik-Match egal war, da (wie immer an diesem Abend) betont wurde das alles "uncensored" und damit alles legal ist. Gleiches gilt ebenfalls für Savage/Avalanche, das natürlich in einer Show, woalles legal ist, im DQ endet. Dasgroße Fremdschämen gab es im Falls Count Anywhere, wo es das große Rutschen in Limo, Senf und Co. gab und der Pin off Camera(! ) passierte. Dazu ein overbookter Mainevent, der absolute Langeweile austrahle und man bekommt eine Katastrophe einer Show. Uncensored 1995, nein danke, nie wieder. |

Im Gegensatz zu später wo man versuchte die PPVs gut zu machen und sie versaute, war es hier aufgrund der Ansetzungen mit total schwachsinnigen Matcharten wie dem King of the Road Match oder das Boxer gegen Wrestler Match schon vorprogrammiert. Dazu gab es einen durchaus ansehnlichen Main Event sowie die Matches von Savage und Sting gegen Big Man. Das Tag Team Match war für das Falls Count Anywhere ein sehr ordentlicher Brawl und artete in eine tolle Senfschlacht aus. Ich mag diesen PPV. |

Ansonsten... der Opener ist eine so selten dämliche Angelegenheit, dass ich die ganze Zeit nur "What the f***? " gedacht habe (und sogar mehrmals laut gesagt). Das MMA (was eine Beleidigung für MMA ist) Match ist grausam, aber das Publikum frisst es auf. Schaut man sich an, was heute alles abgelehnt wird, dann ist das Publikum damals entweder einfach zu begeistern gewesen oder heute läuft was falsch. Badd/Anderson ist halt Wrestling gegen Boxen... DUD. Savage/Avalanche ist das erste richtige Match und nur mittelprächtig (dazu DQ bei einem "Alles ist erlaubt PPV"? Okay). Rogers/Sting ist auch nicht wirklich besser. Das FCA Match ist dann wirklich unterhaltsam, aber nicht weil es gut, sondern gerade weil es so bescheuert ist. Rumgerutsche und Essensschlacht, dazu sieht man das Finish nicht... auweia. Der ME ist dann das beste Match des Abends, aber mMn auch nur in Ordnung und hat zu viel Drumherum. Bewusst trashig? Eher ein hoffentlich nicht ernst gemeinter Versuch mal was anderes zu bieten. Denn die "Gimmick-Matches" abgesehen vom Main Event waren allesamt höchstens zum Lachen (wenn man denn nicht weint). |

Um das durchzustehen, braucht man schon sehr viel Geduld. Die folgenden Singles-Matches waren eine klare Steigerung, wobei dies in keiner Weise als Leistung anerkannt werden darf. Avalanche hat das Match sehr langsam gestaltet, Randy Savage versuchte immer das genaue Gegenteil. Dieser Wechsel gefiel mir, doch Avalanche dominierte phasenweise zu sehr. Sting gegen Rogers war in Ordnung und gefiel mir neben dem Main Event am besten. Nette Moves, schönes Booking. Nur das Finish kam mir dann doch etwas zu plötzlich. Das Tag Team Match war ein Witz. Im Grunde ist die Idee witzig gewesen, die Umsetzung jedoch mangelhaft. Die Gegner wurden mit Zuckerwatte attackiert, alle vier (bzw. fünf) hatten keinen Halt auf dem Boden und das Finish wurde von der Regie nicht einmal gezeigt. Hut ab. Der Main Event rettet den PPV immerhin vor einem absoluten Debakel, obwohl dieser bis oben hin overbookt ist. |
