[5.0] "A reasonably muted, low-energy episode of the show with some decent, if not memorable wrestling, and a surprise twist to the continuing Naka/Joe saga. The producers have to consider giving TM-61 some mic time, center stage if they want the audience to feel something towards them because outside the fact they're Australian, I know nothing and their presentation is bland... without distinction. Asuka has one of the more bewitching glares of any current on-screen female... if I was given it in person it would read 'f**k me, ' but as she's an a*s-kicker I guess it could be construed differently. She still needs work with her comparatives though... 'but, I fought hard (-er, dear. ) Frickin' Connor's video is manna for me tear ducts everytime. Ok, so pre-match T Phillips described 'Ember Moon' as a 'woman of mystery, ' yet 'Athena' plays her with everything but mystery... I can feel how badly she wants to be over, be a superstar, etc... there's nothing enigmatic about her presentation. Play a little cooler dear... this isn't the Berwyn Eagles Club anymore... at least there are no more 'backslahes. ' It's odd to me how much more successful WWE has been at pushing African-American talent over Mexican talent. By removing Sombra's mask it has exposed Almas's inability to project like a star. Finally, Joe's humble muted persona was a pleasing twist to the storyline; I'm pretty sure he's just working Naka so he can get him good... , but I enjoyed the writers giving J some ammunition for mind games."
[6.0] "TM-61 vs Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese, Good Match and Great Spotlight for Tony Nese and Daivari (***), Ember Moon vs Leah Von - Squash, Austin Aries vs Andrade Almas, another good match, Andrade is one of my favorites but two straight defeats is not good (***), Nakamura vs Cutler -squash, It was not memorable but was better than the previous episode 6/10"
[6.0] "Slightly better episode this week, with a couple of good matches in the form of TM61 vs. Daivari & Nese, and Almas vs. Aries. Good contrast in Asuka declaring that she's cleaned out the women's division, and then showing Ember Moon in another impressive match, sowing the seeds for a future Asuka/Moon Takeover match. The main event did a good job in showing Samoa Joe trying to bottle up his anger, knowing full well at any given moment he's going to explode, and probably at Nakamura's expense."
