[7.0] "L'épisode est entièrement construit autour du couronnement du nouveau champion Universal. De mon côté, je mise clairement sur Seth Rollins... Et je me fais complètement surprendre dans le Main Event. La trahison de Triple H envers Rollins est totalement inattendue. Excellente gestion du suspense. Et ce ne sont ni Roman Reigns, ni Big Cass qui profitent de la situation, mais Kevin Owens, sacré Universal Champion. Ce n'est pas un choix qui m'enthousiasme sur le moment, mais je suis prêt à laisser l'arc narratif entre Triple H et Rollins me convaincre. En dehors de cela, deux matchs sortent du lot : Chris Jericho vs Neville et Sheamus vs Cesaro, tous deux agréables à suivre. Pour le reste, le show manque cruellement d'intensité et d'intérêt. Beaucoup de segments paraissent fades et sans véritable enjeu. Enfin, RAW reste trop long. La durée dilue l'impact global de l'épisode et nuit au rythme."

[6.0] "Different year-different competitors-one constant... HHH. I've long past gotten over any apoplexy that might occur when HHH throws his weight around but certainly K Owens's face should not be appearing on cagematch's website as the 'wrestler of the week' (note: he was chosen) as that should be saved for actual achievement and not for crutch victories. For example, award Rollins 'wrestler of the week' when he came out at WMania to steal the title from Lesnar/Reigns because he did that himself but don't reward the competitor for beign the tool in another character's plans. I was pleased, but worried that B Cass would put over as I can only imagine the time/effort to build main event worthy bouts for a talent who would need an exceptional quantity of smoke/mirrors. Anyway, the booking was logical as it sets up Rollins turning babyface & feuding with HHH while KO can defend against a plethora of face talents like his mate despite that so-called 'final singles' confrontation. In other news, Bayley doesn't need 'The New Day' to get over but to establish her as a 'cool' face it helps to get the rub from the (rolling da eyeballs, too-silly) tag champs. I drank in the gift of Jericho and it was as nutritious as can be for the providing 45 yr old. J Mahal and the former Prime Time Players are worthy only of the 'Superstars' show, definitely not Prime Time. Sheamus/Cesaro are just filling up time til their inevitable sixth/seventh match; noone's really into them feuding. Overall a 6. 25"

[9.0] "This was a very, very good show mainly because of the great ending. This was the best ending to a WWE event in a very long time. The rest of the show was good enough to be considered a decent show before the main event. KO winning the Universal Championship was a great call and HHH screwing Rollins led to a face turn. Nia's squash match was super boring, Strowman's was a little more interesting, Cesaro sold his injury well, and Backlund needs to quit taking bumps. RAW won this week."

[7.0] "The show was good thanks to the opening and the main event. Everything in between was rather weak. Jericho vs Neville was enjoyable as was Bayley and the New Day. Everything else was just kinda filler. The main event was excellent. Originally I'd say the match was ***3/4 because while very exciting, it was also a very formulaic match with nothing super happening. However as the match drew to a close things got insane. HHH taking out Reigns was awesome and when HHH put Owens in the ring without hitting him I kinda expected him to align but I wasn't positive and so when he did I still marked out. One of the best Raw endings in a while with Owens a very deserving champ ****1/4"

[7.0] "Decent show. There were good matches and good moments throughout the show, but too much filler to call it a good show. Opening segment was nice. Chris Jericho's segment + match was good as always, and it made sense for the match to happen after the previous week. Bayley/New Day's segment + match was good fun. Sami Zayn did some good work and Sheamus/Cesaro was an alright match. The squash matches were the same old stuff and I skipped through the Young/O'Neil segment, heard it was trash anyway. The Fatal 4-Way was great, and the crowd were on their feet the whole time, giving it a big-match feel. The action was unpredictable throughout, making for good fun and the Triple H return was unexpected. After Reigns was eliminated, you had a feel that Triple H was going to turn on Seth as it didn't seem right for The Authority to make a return once again and I was very much hoping for the turn, as I wanted to see Owens win the title. It seemed more inevitable the more that Triple H stalled, but I still marked out when it happened, and the interaction between Owens and Triple H made for a special moment. Great ending to a decent show."

[8.0] "I have to admin that the show wasn't really interesting before the main event. Bailey joins the New Day, Cesaro continues to lose with Sheamus in a way similar to the second Best of Seven Series between Booker T and Benoit. Nia Jax and Strauman squashes are too standard, I'd love to see them skipped for once. Jericho vs Neville isn't at their best, but the final Four Way Elimination match is impressive and it's an important match for Raw. Great conclusion that gives a new Universal Champion."

[7.0] "Most of the Raw shows this year have been kind of boring or so-so, especially the last few weeks. It looks like they are starting to get back on track now but still a lot of work to do when it comes to booking. There were still a couple of squash matches and a couple of average to below average matches but very good main event with an unexpected ending."

[10.0] "Going into last night there was only one guy who could save Raw, that being Kevin Owens, by the end of last night Raw was saved. They finally made the right call, they gave the belt to the right guy, Raw is now officially the Kevin Owens show. The rest of the show had its highs and lows, but we got the ending that myself & many were hoping for, for that reason the show deserves 10/10."

[7.0] "After being outdone by Smackdown last week, Raw is apparently getting back on track. A great show for television. The matches were interesting, the promo and the vignettes for the Fatal 4-way hyped the match in a big way. The storylines progressed well although I'm still not sure what is happening with Anderson & Gallows and with Neville. Their booking is abysmal right now. But WWE seems to be pulling the trigger on all those 'New Era' stars. Owens' victory was well deserved and his celebration gave me goosebumps. Though Hunter's interference made the victory feel a bit cheap but I'm really looking forward to HHH vs. Rollins feud and Seth working as a face."

Darren Young Vs Titus O'Neil DUD. Kevin Owens Vs Big Cass Vs Roman Reigns Vs Seth Rollins ***3/4. Great show. Opening match was pretty good. So were mixed tag and best of seven series match. Main Event was awesome and the ending was fantastic."

[8.0] "OMG! OMG! OMG! what just happened ! KEVIN F'N OWENS is now your champ. and Seth Freaking Rollins got screwed by Hunter, WM 33.. just book it already."

[6.0] "Fairly average show with a great main event and a fantastic ending. It was a big, over-the-top bombfest that the crowd was into every step of the way. Absolutely go out of your way to check the main event out. Other than that, Neville vs. Jericho was good, Cesaro vs. Sheamus was a good hoss battle with a good ending even though these two have wrestled each other 4928349842 times at this point, the mixed tag was pretty meh unless Bayley was involved (loved that finish), and everything else was bad."

[9.0] "Wonderful show and it started off a whole new potential of storylines. Owens definitely deserved the title, one way or another. It's gonna be tough for SmackDown to beat Raw this week."
