[6.0] "CLASSIC REVIEW: The August 1st, 2016 episode of Monday Night RAW was such a mixed bag. A bit of a letdown actually considering last week. WWE at this point was so inconsistent with the product. For example, we see Sasha win the Women's Title last week but she loses a random tag team match this week. It's stuff like this that make fans not take the product too seriously. We get some gems like Randy RKOing Lesnar out of nowhere, Sami vs. Seth, Sheamus vs. Cesaro and the opening bout. Then we have SO MUCH FILLER. Good god just TONS of filler on this one. [***]"

[7.0] "I would give this show less of a rating because there was too many squash matches, but that RKO at the end of the show on Brock Lesnar made every second of the show almost worth watching. Amazing timing by Randy Orton."

[7.0] "It's a nice show, not at the level of the first brand-only episode, but still able to deliver some good stories and a strong match, Seth Rollins vs Sami Zayn. The first promo with Jericho and Amore was perfect. There are too many squash matches in the show."

[7.0] "Was never going to match last week but all in all this was a decent episode. The opening segment was the type of segment you either love or hate, I thought it was pretty entertaining, adding Enzo & Jericho to it was random but it worked. Rusev vs Reigns should be a great feud; however I'm not keen on them feeding Rusev to Reigns especially as he has the US Title. Having Cesaro & Sheamus fight for something was a good move, they should do more of that. Rollins & Zayn put on a decent match, while that closing segment was brilliant, a RKO that literally came outta nowhere. The pointless filler always hinders the show somewhat, Shining Stars, Golden Truth & Titus O'Neil are trash and god knows why they have brought Jinder Mahal back. More good than bad though."

[4.0] "the very average Cesaro/Sheamus match, I'm not really enjoying this show.... the first skit with Enzo trying to pick up Sasha/baggin' Jericho was fun as was Rollins's cackling, deep-voiced laughter, but it's been mostly mediocre stuff. The only match in three hours of TV time anyone would dare to recommend was Rollins/Zayn, and they were alloted less than ten minutes of TV time. Paul Heyman blah blah blah... RKO had keen timing, but really was there anything nearly as compelling as last week's quality endeavor? Consider me bored."

[2.0] "Compared to last week, this episode was complete trash. I didnt care much for the opening segment and match. There were also to many matches that served no purpose like Titus Vs Young and Golden Truth Vs Shining Stars. Cesaro Vs Sheamus and Rollins Vs Zayn were good matches though. Overall this was completely disappointing."

[6.0] "It would have been nearly impossible to live up to the expectations of last week, but Raw was still a bit disappointing with the number of squash matches and roll-ups. The few matches that did get time were decent, and there was some good promo work in the opening and closing segments. Not to mention that Roman Reigns getting moved into the US title scene is intriguing, and possibly could repair his image in the eyes of some of the audience. Not a blowaway show, but it does feel different and generally more enjoyable than pre-brand split Raw."
