[6.0] "A mid PPV/solid, with almost only heels as winners. But they were the right choices, taking the line-up into account. All the gimmick matches kinda delivered and respective storylines followed up reasonably, except with Natalya-Carmella-Nikki and Ambrose-Ellsworth-Styles triangles. I mean, I did not expect the ''Running over of Austin'' level of storytelling, but it was clear that it was Natalya was behind Nikki's attack at Survivor Series, and an attempt to make her look innocent was just lame. When it comes to the men, I didn't get why would Ellsworth turn on Ambrose, at least at that point. They just didn't have anything for Styles until Cena's comeback, so that's all there was to it. Wyatt and Orton match was ok, building tensions within the Wyatts, especially between Orton and Harper. Too bad for Slater&Rhyno who were quite over. Miz vs Ziggler was great, Miz proves why he's one of the best to ever do it, especially in PG environment. The women's title tables match was acceptable with a kind-of surprising outcome - the rise of Bliss started right there. Even the chairs match was surprisingly good, given how uninteresting the build-up was. Although, things could've been done better overall."

[7.0] "This show was pretty good honestly, half of the show was really good, Carmella vs Nikki was horrible, the tables match and the tag match were alright. Most of the show was centered around the TLC match and I'd say it paid off considering how amazing the main event was. I thought this show was a fun re-watch considering I hadn't watched it since I was still in grade school."

It was a right choice giving it only 5 minutes 2) *** Way better than expected 3) **** This was a very good way to end their satisfying feud. 4) ***1/4+ Yet again better than I expected, probably the best man in Corbin's career 5) **1/2 Tables usually suck and if you put in it 2 girls who has no experience in this type of match, of course It's bad 6) ** If in a match where you have to climb the ladder to win, you ignore it for the most of the time, something doesn't work. The event was better than expected until the last 2 matches, but when it had to peak it was a huge disappointment."

[7.0] "A satisfying show with three good to great matches and three other perfectly serviceable matches. The Tag match was short and to the point (**1/2), Bella/Carmella was an entertaining no DQ match (**1/2), Miz/Ziggler was a great end to my favourite WWE feud of the year (****), Corbin/Kalisto was the surprise of the night, delivering a highly entertaining chairs match (***1/2), Bliss/Lynch both worked hard around a rubbish stipulation but unfortunately couldn't do much (**1/4), and Styles/Ambrose delivered a MOTYC in an awesome blowoff match (****1/2)."

Bliss vs Lynch was like DUD maybe ahah, Bella vs Carmella - DUD, The Miz x Dolph Ziggler was a really good ladder match, I thought The Miz's selling was great - ****. Corbin vs Kalisto was fun - ***. AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose was awesome, great spots, AJ was amazing like he always is and Ambrose worked his ass off... that springboard 450 by AJ was one of the best spots in wrestling ever. - ****1/2"

Moving furniture around does not make for an enjoyable match . The main was very good and two other matches where entertaining . Matches worth watching : Heath Slater & Rhyno (c) vs. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton) (w/Luke Harper) , The Miz (w/Maryse) (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler and my top match was AJ Styles (c) vs. Dean Ambrose ."

[8.0] "A pretty good show overall, with no really bad matches and some (Corbin vs. Kalisto; N. Bella vs. Carmella) even exceeding expectations. The World and IC matches were most notable, but the rest of the show was a solid watch. Nice even to see Bray Wyatt getting a decent push and his first title, even if it took pairing him with Randy Orton to do it. The biggest mark against the show, really, was simply the overkill factor of WWE putting out PPVs at this point basically every two weeks."

[6.0] "This show's three singles matches showed their greater faith on the heel side of the card to build the requisite heat for storylines as Smackdown heads to The Royal Rumble. I would not be surprised if The Undertaker returned, defeated Styles at the RR and then was defeated by Cena at WMania for his 'record-tying' 16th world championship. There's currently noone on the babyface side to challenge The Miz but I do expect B Lynch to regain her title at the RR or sometime within the next month or two. The opener was exactly what it should have been save for giving Slater one last face shine spot in honor of the biggest run of his non-Nexus career. Nikki forgot to sell during her comeback so... who cares? And how long was she extinguishing the fire on Becky? Goodness... she's the Kim Kardashian of WWE. So Natalya is responsible for commiting the most cowardly of acts and yet has a fetish for helping guys get engaged via Kay Jewelers? ! Corbin/Kalisto was a bit better than I thought due to Kalisto inventiveness w/ a chair and our forgetfulness that he's a very talented competitor who has been flattened by WWE's stock, dull characterizations. Bliss/Becky suffered from being the 'tables match' of which nothing much of note happened except move->table->move->table whereas all the other stipulation matches had a great deal more visceral action. I wish Bliss would become more witty and less thuddingly literal on her interviews. 5. 75"

[8.0] "Solid show. SDLive continues to outshine RAW ppvs for me. Tag match was just there for the title change. That finish was so cool, though! Nikki vs Carmella was another match that just happened. The Miz vs Ziggler was awesome! They killed it, again! (**** 1/4). Great leg work by Miz and the moment he fell from the the stand and soon after as he returned crowd was chanting "Miz! Miz! Miz! ". That was pretty cool! Corbin vs Kalisto was surprisingly amazing. Best singles match of each men's career. (***3/4). Becky vs Bliss was good (***). I loved the main event. AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose took some crazy bumps. That 450 splash onto the table by AJ was insane! I have to admit though, the ending did somewhat ruin the match but storywise, made sense. (**** 1/4)."

[8.0] "Orton & Wyatt vs Slater & Rhyno was a Very Short Match, I was expecting something better (**1/2), Carmella/Nikki - This match surprises me because I did not expect anything at all (***1/4), The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler was awesome. This match had a lot of drama and psychology. I just kept waiting for a Big Spot, but that's not important because the story they told us were awesome And was perfect to end this rivalry. (****1/2), Baron Corbin/Kalisto was good, Had Good Spots. The Deep Six outside the ring was brutal. I did not expect anything from this stipulation but I was surprised (***3/4), Becky Lynch/Alexa Bliss- I really expected more from this match (***), AJ Styles/Dean Ambrose - Ambrose Never disappoints in this type of match but AJ Also pike impressive. The Springboard 450 Splash to the table was Awesome. Another Tremendous match for these two (****1/2), That Was a Good PPV much better than No Mercy 8/10"

[8.0] "Fun show but could've been better with a hotter crowd. Tag title match **1/2. Carmella vs Nikki **1/2. Ziggler vs Miz was a really good match, however I did have higher expectations ***3/4. Corbin vs Kalisto was enjoyable despite the weak crowd ***1/4. Bliss vs Lynch was good, again could've nbeen helped by a hotter crowd ***1/4. TLC match was absolutely incredible and one of the best WWE has produced. Lots of cool spots mixed with great psychology. The Ellsworth stuff took me out a bit but it was still awesome and a MOTYC ****3/4"

[8.0] "Good PPV. Slater/Rhyno vs. Wyatt/Orton was pretty much a squash (**1/2). Slater/Rhyno haven't got much screen time lately and were done reasonably quickly so I wonder where things stand for them. Bella vs. Carmella was okay (**1/4). Ziggler vs. Miz was great story-driven ladder match, MOTN in my opinion (****1/4). Corbin vs. Kalisto was a decent match, with Kalisto looking impressive throughout and Corbin proving to be a good foil for him, pulling off some innovative, yet powerful-looking moves (***1/4). Becky vs. Alexa was okay, but I couldn't get into this match too much, since Alexa looked a sure winner, having done well for herself lately and not to mention Becky is rumoured to be unfavourable amongst management, which is sad to hear. But not a bad match (**3/4). Styles vs. Ambrose was alright, a bit spotty compared to the ladder match earlier in the night, but the spots were impressive nonetheless. A bit of a lame finish which didn't seem to make a lot of sense to me story-wise, like Ellsworth's actions did not seem logical in any sense, unless his character is meant to be a complete idiot... good match nonetheless (****)."

[4.0] "Probably one of my least favorite events this calendar year as the show as a whole was decent but nothing to call exciting. Corbin/Kalisto was entertaining and so was Miz/Ziggler (surprisingly I might add). Styles/Ambrose went too long and felt not very engaging or captivating like it should've been though the ending wasn't needed. Orton & Wyatt winning the Tag Titles was a plus and honestly my favorite moment of the show as well and Nikki/Carmella along with Becky/Alexa was meh. Overall this was decent but nothing worth an 8 or a 10 IMO."

[5.0] "Wyatt Family v Heath Slater & Rhyno, and Nikki Bella v Carmella were both fine matches, but felt too short. Would have fit in on the weekly tv show better than a pay-per-view. The Miz v Dolph Ziggler was okay, but I'm sick of this combination. They've fought each other so much, should probably be kept apart from each other for a long while now. Baron Corbin v Kalisto was probably match of the night. Made a chairs match interesting. Alexa Bliss v Becky Lynch was also good. AJ Styles v Dean Ambrose was a waste of time. There was no point in getting invested in the match, as we all knew the outcome would only be decided once James Ellsworth appeared. The first 28 minutes of the match were irrelevant, and just made the match a lot longer than it needed to be."

[3.0] "The tag title opener was just 'a match', nothing memorable about it (*), Nikki/Carmella was actually pretty okay (*3/4), Miz/Ziggler was pretty good - my favorite match of the night (**3/4), Corbin/Kalisto was surprisingly good, a pretty solid David vs. Goliath bout (**3/4), Becky/Alexa was also solid (**3/4) & then the main event between AJ Styles & Dean Ambrose was very disappointing (*). A very meh PPV overall, nothing on it that I'd consider re-watching - 3 pretty solid matches in Miz/Ziggler, Corbin/Kalisto & Alexa/Becky though."

[9.0] "The opening tag title match was a predictable title change in a decent but short match with a lot of good storytelling though and the Orton/Wyatts act is hot. Bella v Carmella surprised me a fair bit - a really decent brawl, Miz and Ziggler had a really great ladder match in which psychology was key - I think they were going for a Michaels/Ramon feel and pulled it off brilliantly. Corbin/Kalisto was the surprise of the night, they really got creative with a poor match gimmick and it was a great performance by both guys to get the crowd onside after that ladder match. Lynch/Bliss the crowd were a bit dead for, I don't really like the tables match gimmick but it did allow for a surprising protected title change that I have no issue with. The main event was great, I worried with 2 ladder matches how they would differentiate themselves but whereas Miz/Ziggler was primarily about great psychology, this one was primarily about great high spots, crazy shit and AJ Fucking Styles - some of the stuff he did in this match was well.. phenomenal and deserved his win. The finish, well it's silly but doesn't take a lot away from the match or night and I'm still interested to tune in to the SmackDown brand. No poor matches and 2 MOTY contenders out of the night isn't bad."

[8.0] "Another very solid PPV from Smackdown. Tag Title match was short and sweet, told a nice little story, made the Wyatts look dominant, and gave them the titles; I loved the presentation of everything involving the Wyatts here, from the new entrance with the corrupted Orton theme to the interaction between Randy and Harper, especially the way they handle their new title belts at the end (***1/4). I LOVE this current Wyatt Family. Nikki vs Carmella was okay, a lot of ramming into barricades and such with a few weapon spots; Carmella's not all that great in the ring, and Nikki's just pretty good, so this was barely standard (**1/4). Miz & Ziggler had another great match, this time seemingly ending their feud; very methodical match with another incredible Miz performance out of this IC Title run (****1/4). Corbin and Kalisto were basically in a cooldown slot but made the most of their time and stipulation by going crazy; the spots these two did with Chairs were varied and brutal, with some great surprises (~***3/4, not certain exactly). Becky vs Bliss went a little longer than expected and felt a lot longer than it was; sometimes things just went too slow. However, the actual work in this match was very good, and the title change wasn't very telegraphed, which gave it a bit of a surprise factor (***1/2). Styles vs Ambrose was like their Backlash match in that they built things up slowly, setting up spots and moderately quickening the pace over time, making the big moments feel bigger and less rapid-fire. AJ took some incredible bumps here for a man turning 40 soon, and Dean wasn't too far behind him in that regard. Ellsworth's run-in was expected, but how it went down wasn't; turning him into a delusional heel is a very new and different direction. Still, a great effort, if a tad too long and a tad spotty (****). Three pretty great matches and two good title changes means this show gets two thumbs up from me."

Styles vs Ambrose* (***3/4) ''Ok'' show, nothing more this. Far from being the best WWE PPV of the year, or one of the best TLC. *Styles vs Ambrose could be better if Styles pants had not rip off. They lost some of the pace of the match after this, but still enjoyable"
Ice wrote on 05.12.2016:
[4.0] "This is about a two match show, which is a jarring booking scenario. It didn't make the crowning of Bray Wyatt or Alexa Bliss as champions very convincing and picked weak finishes/match production value to kick it off. It had a lousy payoff to the Nikki/Carmella feud (which was extremely poorly worked) and an overexposed Corbin and Kalisto match. Ellsworth interfering in the main event really messed up a potential MOTY candidate. The IC championship match was a modern day classic and that is a definite recommended watch for that match. It was a nice throwback to Razor/HBK ladder matches."
