12.03.2017 | OneOfTheBeatles | 7.0 | Opener was quick an clean, this Kobe guy looks promising, liked it. The second match was kind of sloppy, crowd was too distracted at one point, it felt like spots (some of them were good) with no connection, the final part looked better, maybe something happened at the beginning, maybe just bad chemistry, it happens. Riddle vs. End was very good, great way to go for Tommy F'n End. One of the best backslides I've seen right here in ZSJ vs. Alexander match, great CWC showcase and just a cool match on its own, both wrestlers showed awesome competition. Well, Hero vs. Rhodes was entertaining to say the least, good start of indy career for Cody. Galloway's promo was also interesting to hear. Thatcher and Gulak slowly builded up a crowd from not caring to fully believe Drew has a chance to win, good work. And the 'final main event' was fun, so as follow-up with Cody. Overall, enjoyed the show.
23.01.2017 | see base 2cubed | 6.0 | This show had two great matches and seemed like it was heading in the right direction and then it died flat . While a good match Thatcher vs. Gulak sucked the life out of the building . it was not the match anyone in the building wanted to see . The main was a mess including a blown finish . Matches worth watching : Chris Hero vs. Cody Rhodes , Timothy Thatcher (c) vs. Drew Gulak and Matt Riddle vs. Tommy End was great . My top match was Cedric Alexander vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

Page vs Durst *; Nese vs Kaasa **; Riddle vs End *** 3/4; Sabre vs Alexander *** 1/2; Hero vs Rhodes MOTN ****; Thatcher vs Gulak *** 1/2; Six Man Tag Match ** 3/4.
04.09.2016 | Luv all wrestling | 6.0 | Despite having good-great matches the pricing and pacing made this show feel second rate, with the ending in particular making EVOLVE look bad.
Cody bekommt in seinem 2. Match, 1. Niederlage.

02.09.2016 | jboyaquar | 7.0 | I found the second of this weekend's double-shot of Evolve to be of a slightly stronger intoxicant than the first evening because it contained two noteworthy contests as well as the best Long Island crowd I've ever seen/heard for Evolve; The change of venue was a very wise choice and it appeared densely packed. The first two contests were throw-away - one being a squash and the second comprised of competitors who were more interested in having their match than listening to the crowd and following suit with what's getting over with the people. Tommy End/Riddle was a battle between two men in their physical prime and of comparable sizes who compete with a primal energy well-suited for a heavily masculine, macho NY audience looking to see a fight. I much prefer ZSJ as a cocky, audience prodding heel as he has mostly been portraying himself in the states as someone too skilled/esteemed to sell as a babyface, and his pithy quips are well-suited to jaw-jack with fans. I was as shocked, but pleased, as anyone for Hero/Rhodes to be as much of a wild brawl as it was but this weekend successfully showed two different sides of how Rhodes can compete outside WWE. After the hyperbole (incl. too many H elbows) of the previous bout, the title match was put in a difficult position to succeed and it really didn't as TT is not over as either a face or heel. Outside the flubbed finish, the six man finale was not going to be remembered, but Styles's insults afterwards at the heels will be. 6. 75
31.08.2016 | MAGICIAN | 5.0 | Page bekommt nen Squashsieg (¾*).

30.08.2016 | GD | 8.0 | Probably not the best 2 days for EVOLVE, but still very entertaining. For me, Riddle vs End was match of the night, or should i say fight of the night, cause thats how it was felt. Tremendous action, non stop, with a plethora of strikes and submissions. The same goes for the world title match. Now Sabre vs Cendric, was an interesting one, not just for the match itself but also the "heelish" tactics of ZSJ, which can been seen also in RevPro against Cobb. This guy keeps evolving so fast, that you can never get tired of him. Hero vs Cody was a good contest, better than i expected and the main event was just a brawl. Overall, not a bad night but not the best either. I think, that what EVOLVE needs right now is a new champion, to freshen things up and Riddle is their guy.
21.08.2016 | steviecw | 7.0 | Not the best of EVOLVE's recent shows but still hugely entertaining for the most. Matt Riddle vs Tommy End was fantastic, ZSJ vs Cedric Alexander was very good, Chris Hero vs Cody Rhodes fell slightly short of what I imagined but it was still very good, the Tag Championship main-event was slightly disappointing in that I'd hoped for more than a brawl but I liked it and I was happy with the result. Sooner or later, Page vs Trainee will have to be seen as not the way to make him the next Gargano, Nese vs Kaasa was good but Kaasa always seems about ready to break his own neck. EVOLVE so desperately need a new champion, not even to turn Thatcher heel but to absolutely remove the championship from him.
