[7.0] "Interesting show, which was basically two matches and a short countout. Pentagon, Jr. returns and takes out Chavo to take his place in the match. Not a whole lot of development of any angles, but two fun matches for the win."

[6.0] "Not the greatest show, but at least we are seeing some interesting developments leading to Ultima Lucha 2. First, we see Black Lotus asking Dario Cueto is it's true that Dragon Azteca killed his parents. Dario Cueto tells her that is true and that she'll face Dragon Azteca Jr. at Ultima Lucha. It's revealed that Black Lotus is a member of a triad. Later we see Cisco being interrogated by Joey Ryan, Cortez Castro and their boss, Cisco agrees to have a wire so they can spy Cueto. Now talking about the matches. The opener was bad. I'm not interested at all in Killshot vs Marty the Moth. The storyline is weird and Killshot should be doing better things. The Nunchucks tag team match was great. A fun tag team match with great lucha libre and great spots involving the weapons and the different locations they were put on. The main event as a match was average, as a 12 wrestlers tag team match doesn't let everybody to shine, less if is just 12 minutes long. But it had some interesting developments, such as Pentagon returning to Lucha Underground and joining the winning team after taking out Chavo Guerrero breaking his arm. The ending of the match was nice, with Mundo taking the victory after countering Mysterio and Puma's combo. Next week, Mundo's team will face each other in a 6 wrestlers elimination match. On the final video of the episode we see Catrina bringing back to life Mil Muertes, who was trapped in his casket on King Cuerno's office."

[7.0] "The road to Ultima Lucha begins now. Opener was more of a segment than a match, **. The tag team match was just nuts with each guy flying and fighting all over the Temple, ****. Main event was a really fun spot fest with crazy flips, ***3/4."

[7.0] "A nice step up in quality with this episode. All the vignettes were pretty average this week, with none standing out. The Marty vs Killshot match/segment was pretty bad. Marty's gimmick is embarrassingly bad, and Killshot is far too good to be in such a bad programme. The angle with the two is stupid anyways, since they both care so deeply about Killshot's dogtag which just feels very forced and unrealistic. Things massively stepped up from here, luckily. The nunchuck tag team match was surprisingly good, and showed LU can be goofy AND fun without coming off as dorky. There were some nice power moves and high flying to start off. I liked how the nunchucks were placed in various different spots around the arena, allowing the wrestlers to make use of lots of space. The nunchucks had great impact and must have had their sound edited in, but still came off fantastically. Drago was especially slick with them. There was plenty of good high flying still involved too though, stopping this from becoming a pure gimmick match. ***1/2. The 12 man tag team match was a straight forward spotfest but very fun. Pentagon’s return was great, and Pentagon, Fenix, Mysterio, and Mundo were all fantastic with their high flying spots. ***1/2. This was a much more creative and fun episode of LU, and I hope it keeps this level of quality up leading towards Ultimo Lucha Dos."

[7.0] "Two pretty good matches and one non match . More of the hokey stuff especially at the end . Main would have been better without the broads but it still delivered . The gimmicked nun-chucks where kind of lame but they didn't wreck the match . Matches worth watching Aero Star & Drago vs. Jack Evans & PJ Black and my top match was Fenix, Ivelisse, Johnny Mundo, King Cuerno, Pentagon Jr. & Taya vs. Prince Puma, Rey Mysterio Jr. , Sexy Star, Son Of Havoc, Texano & The Mack ."

[8.0] "This is the night of the return of Pentagon Jr. It's funny and sad to see Chavo Guerrero gets beaten so much, he did not get in the ring. The 12 men main event is good and every wrestler has time to fight, the exchanges between Taya and Sexy Star were good. The nunchuck tag team match was a real surprise and a great match."

[9.0] "Great show. Nunchuck match stole the show. Pentagon's return was very cool. Interesting vignettes to escalate the various plot threads into Ultima Lucha. 12 man tag, disorganized but fun. Opening brawl promises a very cool match in the future. All in all, I had a blast."
