[6.0] "Episode 19 opens wiht Havoc vs. Daga Fun enough opener. Daga leans a little bit mroe heel arguing with the ref. Havoc is the highlight with his trademark spots and getting a solid win. Nothing amazing. Post match Daga rejects Kobra's advances (6/10) Backstage Azteca and Mysterio argue over wheter actually going against Matanza or focusing on their match. Puma comes in and theres a little bit of tension between him and Mysterio. The bout is up next, a trios title rematch from last episode. The heels now have matching headbands, thats nice. There's a lot of back and forth, with plenty of dive cut offs by the heels. Jack at one points hits the 630 on Puma for more disrespect. Puma's anger leads to a DQ, to him superkicking Taya and more in team tensions. Not as good of a match as the first encounter but it has more story/character progression (6/10) Post match, Azteca goes over to Matanza's cell but is stopped by Lotus who still tries to convince him Azteca sr. killed his parents. Main event time, Cage vs Matanza for the world title. I like the start with Cage doing more Lucha moves instead of powermoves seeing he doesn't have the clear advantage against Matanza. Its a fun hoss fight with a lot of big moves from both. Matanza eventually wins, though Cage does almost as much no selling as he did which. It didnt feel as impactful as other title defences (7/10) Overall a fine episode"

[7.0] "It was an interesting show with some development in storylines and characters. The opener was an average match between Son of Havoc and Daga. Havoc wins, but Kobra Moon appears again to try to be with Daga, as if she is interested in him. Daga doesn't like that. It's a weird storyline to be honest. Next we see a video package that shows the problems inside the Justice League of Lucha Libre. Dragon Azteca talks to Rey Mysterio about the place where Matanza is caged. Rey tells him that he is focused on the match and that it's what their master would have like them to be centered on. Dragon replies telling them he can't know what he wantes as they haven't talked in years. At that same moment, Prince Puma appears, but Rey tries to pull him appart of the conversation, which Puma refuses, giving a sort of heelish or angry character. Next they faced the newly crowned trios champions on a decent encounter. The match was fine. I prefer the one of the previous week, but this is also good. I liked the ending, Puma tired of the heels cheating, decides that they must try their own medicine, hitting a low blow in front of the referee and getting his team disqualified. It gives more edge to his character. We'll see where they go with it. Then we see a segment of Dragon Azteca entering Matanza's cage just to encounter Lotus, who tells him that Matanza didn't kill anyone. And finally, the big main event with Cage cashing his Gift of the Gods title to face Matanza. It was a big match, Cage's agility really add to the bout, as well as the exchanges of big moves. Loved the ending with Matanza countering a lariat into the Tour of the Islands. Another big victory for the champion on a good match. I don't know who'll be the next challenger, but Matanza is a dominant force"

[7.0] "The season is finally picking up again as we head towards Ultima Lucha once again. The opener was quite fine and gave something for both guys to do, though I am iffy on the Daga/Kongo story, ***1/2. Trios match was fun with an interesting finish, ***3/4. Main event was really great as Cage took Matanza to the limit, ****1/4."

[4.0] "Yet again, another poor episode of Lucha Underground. Daga vs Havoc was a poor spotfest. **. Kobra Moon’s involvement was pointless, and her storyline with Daga continues to totally bore/embarrass me. Mysterio and Azteca had a weird vignette with odd editing, but it progressed the story with Mystery and Azteca’s mentor at least, which is a storyline which interests me. The Trios Title match was a fine lucha spotfest and had a controversial ending which sets up an interesting storyline as Ricochet seems to have turned heel. **3/4. The Matanza, Azteca, and Lotus vignette hinted at tension between Azteca and Lotus, but I really don’t care enough about Lotus to care about this development. Matanza vs Cage had some novelty high-flying and then some rather basic brawling and power moves. The fighting spirit spots and general moves did get better and more entertaining as the match went on, at least, but this just didn't appeal to me much, and the finish was way too sudden. **1/2"

Almost too smooth at times but very good nonetheless . Cage looks like he is about to explode . Matches worth watching : all of them and my top match was The Monster Matanza Cueto (w/Dario Cueto) (c) vs. Cage ."

[9.0] "Another excellent episode of Lucha Underground. Opener was enjoyable and the two following matches were great in very different ways. Top notch vignettes as well, absolutely love the layered high end storytelling on display."

[9.0] "Important episode with two title defenses. The opening match is acceptable, nothing really impressive but a decent fight now that Son of Havoc is fighting alone. The trios match is good but it ends in a cheap way. The main event is the Matanza vs Cage match and does not disappoint, they tried everything they can. Highly enjoyable week."
