[5.0] "Perhaps I only watch two-three Shine shows a year; Frankly, I find the organization to be the poor-woman's version of Shimmer as though it's a viable outfit for female competitors based in FL to get work on a platform that is beamed worldwide on IPPV, the quality of talent, lack of Joshi stars and lack of a top-notch management/booking agents helping the ladies to expertly lay out their matches make the shows hardly ever must-see. With that being said I do appreciate the tad more emphasis on cosmetic appeal as well as it's steadiness as it has been a boon for competitors like Su Yung(evidenced tonight in the best singles bout of the show vs. Kay Lee) to greatly improve in-ring. This show was successful at providing a great hook as never before had the Shine/Shimmer/TNA belt been defended in one night. But any smark watching would ascertain that the winner of the MITB five-way would defeat the Shine champ in the main event as there was no way Shimmer/TNA would allow their belts to change hands on a Shine show. Yet kudos to the gimmick as it made the show marketable enough so at least this fan put forth money towards its purchase. A couple of thoughts: I find K Skater's passion for wrestling to be so engaging/rootable, but she's not a natural; her dances lilt in mediocrity. However, the more glib Santana obviously enjoys performing for crowds. Do both Rachel/Tessa have to wear black T-shirts? Will Viper be the next Hailey Hatred? M Eagles was the best wrestler on this show."
[8.0] "Ein gelungener gut aufgebauter Shine PPV (2 Stunden) Booking wurde von Shine 34 gut weiter geführt. Nicht mehr so konfus und keine Eingriffe in die Matches, was dem ganzen Glaubwürdigkeit verleiht und die Matches stark aussehen lässt. Auch die Fans waren gut drauf mit ihren Chants was einen Wrestling Event immer gut tut. Wieso ist Viper so over? Und wer ist Maria Maria ? :) Jedes Match sehr gut anzusehen. MOTN für mich Kay Lee Ray vs. Su Yung (ein Match wo die Bar auch mal wieder einbezogen wird) Rachael Ellering vs. Tessa Blanchard (schnelles und flüssiges Match). Auch stark im Main Event stehen drei Titel zu Wahl unter anderem der TNA Title ! und Shimmer Title auch mal was außergewöhnliches."
[7.0] "Nach zuletzt vielen sehr schwachen Shows mit absurden Bookingentscheidung und einen Haufen voller unsauberer Finishes in den Matches, hat SHINE mit dieser Show endlich die Kurve gekriegt und eine unterhaltsame Veranstaltung mit ordentlichen Matches abgeliefert. Das MOTN war für mich Su Yung vs. Kay Lee Ray. Schönes intensives Match mit einigen netten Spots mit u. a. Cannonball von der Bar. Su spielt ihr Gimmick nach wie vor überragend und es macht einfach Spaß ihr dabei zuzuschauen. Die Matches Kellyanne vs. Green, BTY vs. Evie/McKenzie, Ellering vs. Blanchard und den Opener konnte man sich auch gut anschauen. Da war nichts schlechtes dabei. Der Main Event wirkte dafür etwas konfus und hat mir nicht so sehr zugesagt. Insgesamt war es auch ein sehr unrundes Match. Overall eine ordentliche Veranstaltung und nach SHINE 30 wahrscheinlich die beste der letzten 1 1/2 Jahre der Promotion."
