[7.0] "Episode 18 kicks off with another segment back at Vampiro's Dojo's, Pentagon seems ready to return but Vampiro doesn't want him going for the belt. Opening match is Mascarita vs Joey Ryan. Famous B does introductions again, the gimmick is definetely over. He can't get a win to save his life though. Joey wins in three minutes after some back and forth. Its mostly there to have him be in the building for a later backstage bit (4/10) Taya gets a vignette beating up dudes in a fancy bar. Its cool, it does feel like something that would air before a debut and not this far into the season though. Cuerno cuts a promo on the seemingly lifeless Mil Muertes which is pretty badass Cage vs. Chavo up next and its a fine match. Chavo gets somelucha stuff and some false finishes here and there, but the result is never in question. Cage came to get his title and thats what he got (6/10) Backstage Johnny mundo took out Fenix and the Worldwide Underground is formed, though not named yet. Lovely Bill & Ted style Air Guitar with sound effects. Cop Plot returns as Joey and Cortez try to find evidence in Dario's office. Cisco catches them and they have to arrest him so he doesn't tell Cueto. Solid story advancement Main Event time. Trios title match. It's damn good to see a six man were both teams are working like well oiled machines with no Can they coexists attached. Theres a lot of fun spots in this match. Dragon Azteca gets to show off a lot in the early part. Evans jawjacking with the crowd and throwing the most over the top flipping kicks is always fun (specially since they connect well every time here, not something that always happens). Puma and Mundo have a lot of chemistry. We see a lot of each guys trademark spots as well as some good counters to others. The heels turn the match into dick kick city for a while, but Puma kicks out. Distraction plus chairshots allow the heels to win the titles (8/10) Great closer. Overall a good fun episode that moves things along"

[7.0] "Decent episode. I do like how the announcers never acknowledge the backstage skits. The matches were a lot of fun, especially the trios match. Season is quickly nearing its end and it's still got some of its luster left."

[8.0] "This was a strong show. It started with another Pentagon and Vampiro segment, where Pentagon tried to abandon the dojo, but Vampiro stopped him telling him he is not ready yet and that he is afraid of Matanza. Pretty cool tease. Then we move to the temple to see the first match, Joey Ryan defeating Mascarita Sagrada. As a commedy match it was fun, loved Ryan's mini slam or Mascarita's samoan drop, but in the end, Ryan is able to win. Famous B is funny. We move to two segments, one putting over Taya as a character, and other showing King Cuerno's throphy room with Mil Muertes on a casket on it. He is talking to him saying the Hunter always wins. After that Cage dethroned Chavo Guerrero as the Gift of the Gods champion and then challenge Matanza for next weeks show. That match was awesome, far better than it should have been. Chavo is a master putting over other talent. Some decent spots that Cage look like a machine. Then there are other two segments. On the first we see Taya with PJ Black and Jack Evans, leading them to a Johnny Mundo's surpraise. It's that he beat Fenix and now is his new partner on the upcoming match for the trios titles. It was fun a cool to see a great heel trio together at last. Then, Joey Ryan and Cortez Castro are on Cueto's office looking for some evidence for the police, but Mr. Cisco sees them. When he was going to talk with Cueto, they arrested him. It was weird to be honest. And finally the main event, a big and fun spotfest where the new heel stable was able to win the Trios Titles. I loved their teamwork and some of their sequences. Even as a fan of the Justice League of Lucha Libre, I think it's a good decision to have the titles on the heel stable, ad they have shown lots of personality and have great in-ring abilities."

[6.0] "Not much interesting plot development, but some decent matches. Opener was dumb but whatever, ***1/4. Cage vs Chavo wasn't bad, and the twist after the match was cool, ***1/2. Main event was fun, but the heel shit got annoying real quick, ***3/4."

[7.0] "Three good matches and not too heavy on the hokey stuff . Uncle Fester , I mean Vampiro seems to be poised to get more involved with the action , which is good for no one . Matches worth watching : all of them and my top match was Chavo Guerrero Jr. (c) vs. Cage ."

[5.0] "Another cool Pentagon/Vampiro segment. Ryan vs Sagrada was fine. Ryan’s comedy was pretty good, and Sagrada’s underdog persona was fun too. This was much better than expected. **1/2. Taya has a really cool vignette, but I don’t think her wrestling or character is nearly as cool as how she was presented here, so it felt sort of odd. I liked the Cuerno/Muertes vignette too, and I’m excited for a feud between the two of them. Cage vs Chavo was good. I liked Chavo trying to be intelligent and dirty and Cage just relying on his raw power. This made for quite a few cool sequences. ***. Mundo, PJ, Evans, and Taya had a weird but cool segment. The Ryan and Castro segment with them inspecting Dario’s office was pretty cool too. The Trios title match was a massive spotfest, but a fun one. It’s still hindered by the fact that everything feels so devoid of passion because all that seems to matter is jumps and flips, but I still found some things to enjoy in this match. The interference ending didn’t really bother me because Mundo is a well established asshole (and a pretty great one), plus I’m excited to see how his stable with Evans, Taya, and PJ goes. ***. This was a much better episode that Lucha Underground has been producing in the last few weeks. The matches were better and the storylines are finally picking up. It was rather average overall, but still acceptable."

[8.0] "The first match is pure entertainment with Famous B and his continuous fails to promote Sagrada. Chavo Guerrero vs Cage is surprising, best match of Chavo in this company. The vignette with Ryan undercover cop is great, the 3 vs 3 main event is a spotfest, Mundo changed teams too many times in these weeks."

[6.0] "Not really a great show in terms of the match card. As far as the backstage stuff goes, there was story progression with Pentagón, Mil Muertes, and undercover cops, but the only thing really thing that was cool was the air guitar moment with Mundo, Evans, and Black. Incidentally, their match was the only one was awesome. I'm sure the next episode will be better."

[9.0] "The main event was great but what really blew me away was the surprisingly fantastic Chavo/Cage match, I never expected it to be one of the better LU matches of the year so far but it actually was, props to Chavo for showing he's still got it just as much as he ever did on his best day. The first match is passable, pretty much what you might expect from those two. Great vignettes as well, moving along the undercover cop subplot as well as revealing the current whereabouts of Mil Muertes. Can't wait for Cage v. Matanza!"
