[9.0] "New Japan knows how to big shows and big matches . No bad matches most of the show was very good with moments of greatness . Nagata and Shibata was awesome with Shibata showing and receiving respect from the old guard . The main was excellent with Naito finally having that match without a lapse . All titles defended changed except one which is odd and it was a bloodbath for LIDJ losing all their matches including the big one . Yet Bullet Club continues to receive a strong push . Matches worth watching : CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI & SANADA) , EVIL vs. Hirooki Goto , Matt Sydal & Ricochet (c) vs. reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) vs. Roppongi Vice (Beretta & Rocky Romero) vs. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) , KUSHIDA (c) vs. Will Ospreay , Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) (c) vs. Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) , Kenny Omega (c) vs. Michael Elgin , Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada and my top match was Yuji Nagata (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata ."

[7.0] "Bad Luck Fale, Hangman Page & Yujiro Takahashi vs. Captain New Japan, Togi Makabe & Yoshitatsu was ok, but was just your average NJ tag team opener. *3/4. Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI vs. BUSHI & SANADA was a good tag team contest. ***1/4. EVIL vs. Hirooki Goto. ***. The 4 way was good, but NJ keep having the same 4 teams in a 4 way is getting a little boring and stale. ***. KUSHIDA vs Ospreay was a good match, but was nowhere near as good as their match from Invasion Attack. ***1/4. Guerrillas Of Destiny (c) vs. Briscoe Brothers was ok. Im glad that the Briscoes are champs as I think the Guerrillas Of Destiny are a little boring. **1/2. Yuji Nagata (c) vs. Katsuyoui Shibata was a good hard hitting match. ***1/4. Kenny Omega (c) vs. Michael Elgin I thought it was one of the best ladder matches ive ever seen. ****1/4. Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada - The match was good, but I never really got fully into it. And compared to their previous match I thought it was disappointing. ***."

[7.0] "Solid show by New Japan, but an underwhelming one being honest. Omega/Elgin was an awesome match and MOTN (***3/4), Shibata/Yuji was also a great hard hitting match with Okada/Naito being good with an amazing closing stretch (***1/2)."

[8.0] "Just like Seibu Dome '14 I suffered a mini apoplectic stroke but at least this time I left the Jo-Dan Hall (my first ever event inside the spacious arena) before I made a complete ass of myself. Looking back a couple weeks later I still have yet to be convinced that removing the belt from the top and freshest act & the company's #1 merchandise seller was a good idea. After a wild & woolly semi-final the main event felt like just a match, and not the climactic toppling of a super-villain a more protracted feud and title reign would have produced. In other action, by jobbing twice to the better all-around wrestler Ospreay has earned my cheers and I will no longer bitterly besmirch his push. Shibata won in an attempt to persuade NJPW fans that the core of the organization, the so-called third generation, no longer resent his hasty and disloyal departure a decade back. Jay White's farewell speech made an emotional impression upon the faithful and I look forward to him receiving massive support upon his return from his American sojourn. Ricochet was the stand-out performer in a very enjoyable four-way Jr Tag Elimination belt bout but those belts desperately require an impressive reign by any team not named 'Roppongi Vice. ' Goto/Evil was a hard-hitting sprint, the heavy tag titles was unsurprisingly a bland battle and Adam Page is getting the push I wish the other ROH Adam was getting. Though his hyperbolic gesticulations annoy, Omega is the #2 NJPW MVP of '16 behind Naito."

[9.0] "This was a fantastic supershow that was a bit of a slow-starter, but built to an amazing climax with two surefire MOTYCs. Whilst not quite as good as the incredible WK10, it was maybe a bit better than Invasion Attack, which both rank as my top NJPW shows this year. From the Junior singles titles onwards (with the notable exception of the Heavy tag title match), everything delivered big, and in the case of the Intercontinental Title match, overachieved. The main event was one of the most heated matches you'll see all year, the NEVER title match was an all-out war and the Jr Title bout, even though not as good as their outstanding match at Invasion Attack, was an excellent high flying match-up. TenKoji & Nakanishi vs. Gaijin Lions: **1/4, BC B Squad vs. Makabe, Yoshitatsu and Captain NJ: **1/4, Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI vs. SANADA & BUSHI: ***3/4, Goto vs. EVIL: ***1/2, Jr Tag Title Elimination Match: ***1/2, KUSHIDA vs. Ospreay: ****1/4, Heavy Tag Title Match: ***, Nagata vs. Shibata: ****1/4, I. C. Ladder Match: ****3/4, Naito vs. Okada: ****3/4"

[10.0] "Just when you think WWE delivered a good show you look at NJPW and see all this awesomeness. It's impossible not to like the phisicallity in here, every match was worth watching and every booking choice seemed a lot reasonable. No complaints at all, everything looked perfect."

[7.0] "Good event but awful booking, Elgin wins? Okada wins? Really Gedo? i don't think exceeds Dominion of last year. The main event was good, The Ladder Match is ok but the finish was bad. KUSHIDA and Ospreay was very good match but don't surpass the match in Invasion Attack. Nigata and Shibata was other good match, for me better that in Wrestling Dontaku. The match of Jr titles was deplorable. The rest was decent. Average ***1/2"

[10.0] "This was an amazing show. Jay White's farewell match was good (***), BC/jobbers&Makabe was just there (**), LIJ/Chaos was really good (*** 1/4) and so was Goto/EVIL (*** 1/2). 4 Way Match was good, but this division is suffering from shitty booking (*** 1/4). KUSHIDA/Ospreay was tremendous, but not as good as their Sumo Hall match. (**** 1/4). GOD/Briscoes was good for what it was (***). Nagata/Shibata was awesome, and the post-match was fucking great (**** 1/4). The ladder match was that kind of a match that will get a ***** from one guy but the other will give it a DUD. Omega was amazing here and Elgin was great as well. I gave it **** 1/4. The main event was something else. This might have been the most heated match of the year. It started slow, but it eventually picked up and then it was awesome. It was slightly better than Sumo Hall match and I gave it **** 1/2. I know many people complained about the booking, but I had no problem with it. Hell, I really liked it; now you have 3-4 guys who can win the G1 instead of predictable Okada for the 3rd time. Another awesome show from New Japan. Not as good as WK10, but imo as good as PWG ASW day 2 and Invasion Attack. Keep it up NJPW, you're on the way to becoming promotion of the year for the 5th year in the row."

[7.0] "This was good but not on the level of last year's Dominion which was what I consider a show of the year in 2015. The first half was pretty solid though I wasn't a fan of the Jr Tag Title match as that whole division is a mess and honestly hated that the Young Bucks won. The last 3 matches are what really saved this show for me as KUSHIDA/Ospreay didn't do much for me but was good (***). Shibata/Nagata was fantastic (****1/4), Omega/Elgin was a crazy ass ladder match but GREAT nonetheless (****), and a fantastic main event from Naito & Okada once again. (****1/4). This was really good but sadly no classics coming out of this show."

[9.0] "Great show, not as great as last year's Dominion but still great. The opening tag was nothing special but I found fun and enjoyable Adam Page looked like a star and should do big things **1/2. The next tag was decent again nothing special. I have to say, though, I love the new Sanada. I never really liked him in TNA but his whole new attitude is great and is looking like a future star **1/4. Goto vs EVIL was a good filler match. Again nothing blow away but a good transition for the show going into its next gear ***. The 4 way tag was interesting. Suprisingly not a lot of flippy stuff. The Bucks' selling and facial expressions make this match for me and is why I love them so much, especially Matt. Fun match ***3/4. Kushida vs Ospreay was once again incredible. This one was slower and more psychological than the last which I think made this one better ****1/2. The Tag title match was the weakest of the show. It had its moments but was too long and the crowd wasn't into it. **. Shibata vs Nagata had some fuckin hard ass shots, these guys looked like they were trying to kill eachother. Not as great as the Ishii vs Shibata matches but still good ***3/4. Omega vs Elgin... wow. Absolutely perfect ladder match, honestly I didn't find any flaws. Pacing was great and each spot well timed and executed. For 30 mins I never felt bored. MOTN and MOTYC ****3/4. Okada vs Naito was good. Had a slow build but the last 10 minutes were really good. ****1/4. Great show, good luck MITB"

[8.0] "A shocking main event, I really thought Naito would have been champion for a while, but beside that, matches were incredible, mostly Omega/Elgin (it was even more impressive than I though it could've been) and Naito/Okada. Great effort by Kushida/Ospreay too, glad that Kushida retained and surely Ospreay will have loads of opportunities in his NJPW future. Shibata/Nagata was hard hitting af, so impressive."
