[6.0] "The card looked very nice, but underdelivered a bit. The opener was a slow hoss battle, not awful but not very exciting either. The four-way showcased rookies well for 5 minutes, but morphed into a very angle to repackage Punisher Martinez, which just comes off forced and hokey. The 6-men tag was very fun and by far the highlight of the hour. The main event was smooth and competent, but the overbooked ending took a lot away from it and the match ends up forgettable. There is enough good to appreciate the hour of TV, including a typically great promo by Adam Cole, but the artificial story development will hinder a lot of the fun away."

[4.0] "Gorilla/Brain, Gorilla/Jesse, G Solie, J Ross, NJPW/DG crew - announcing is as important to a fan's reverence for the product as almost anything outside of the competitors in the ring. Yet in ROH there's something awry when the office stooge is the most appealing element of an announcing team - I listen to countless wrestlers on Beyond/PWG/Chikara, etc. shows and I don't think there's anyone as distinguished as Matt Taven for making an entertainment show feel like a trip to the dentist. Stick a few lemons in your mouth and the resulting expression is enduring this non-intuitive, uncool and jealous blowhard self-aggrandizer. And then add the shrill, her lawyer act was never-over in ROH, Veda Scott and the main event was just impossible to enjoy. I really like the dynamic of the big men within the opening tag as it's a welcoming 20th century inclusion on the 21st century wrestling world. They were, however, too concerned with executing move-after-move instead of dosing the match with some big-man personality. Speaking of personality, the boys & Castle draw-in viewers because they're fun... when is ANX fun, and why can't ROH build the match/feud for the faces instead of two stale acts whose only heat is X-pac heat. The Addiction/Bucks have met many times before so they won't have a bad match, but having successive not-over heel teams win the last two matches of the show, the last due to a partially expired team that we have to endure cause they're veterans, left a bad taste."
