[5.0] "This was a deeply underwhelming show, although the two new debuts give me hope that they might shake up the stale roster a bit. The show opened with the match of the night; a match between America's Most Wanted and NOSAWA and Miyamoto of All-Japan. It wasn't that good, but it was the only halfway decent match to get an actual finish. Trinity then beat Desire in a Stretcher Match that didn't do any favors for anyone. Jerry Lynn somehow struggled to beat Scott D'Amore, who didn't even fall back on Team Canada for support. Mini Pierroth and Mascarita Sagrada had a match that was marred by a massive botch halfway through that they never recovered from. AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy battled to a no contest for the X-Division Title when the "injured" Kid Kash and Dallas interfered. Finally, Jeff Jarrett And Ron Killings killed time in their World Heavyweight Title match until they could get to the Dusty Finish that ended the show on a sour note."

The only variation was right at the beginning of the show with a strong match between AMW and All Japan guests NOSAWA and Miyamoto, immediately followed by a lousy women's stretcher match. You can see why the weekly PPV model didn't work, as this was roughly on the same level of a free to watch Raw or Smackdown while having to pay ten bucks for it."
