[8.0] "The two squashes were a bit boring, and despite being squashes went a bit too long. That said, the match between Emma and Garrett was surprisingly decent and more back-and-forth, with the crowd getting decently behind Santana. The segments on this show were pretty decent, between Emma & Dana's promo, the Hype Bros promo that was stalked by the Vaudevillains, Regal setting up Bayley & Asuka in a team, and the post-show promo with Joe and Zayn. Also, the debut of Austin Aries was perfectly done, which Baron Corbin blindsiding him before he could even step foot in the ring. Shows Corbin's animosity for Regal, and forwards the Corbin Hates Indies narrative that I just love. The main event was actually very good. It's refreshing to see Neville just wrestle again after just flipping about and jobbing on the main roster, and Balor was better here than he's been in some months. Best match in NXT of 2016 thus far, although next week's 2/3 Falls match could easily top it as they build to Dallas."

[8.0] "Great episode of NXT. The match between Balor and Neville was very good, we had the debut of Austin Ariesa, Emma match was pretty solid and The Vaudevillains continue to be a fun team. Only one bad thing was Elias Samson. He just doesn't connect with fans and his in-ring work doesn't impress me."
