[6.0] "The tournament format is never a good idea. They rushed through the first round and barely had some 3-minute matches. It wasn't the best show, but it was actually pretty good. The War Games cage match was terrible, imho."

[7.0] "This was a good episode with very few hiccups. It opened with a pointless and terrible squash of Lazz by Mad Mikey. The Super X Cup then kicked off with a solid Quarterfinal Match between Juventud Guerrera and NOSAWA. This was folllowed by another good Super X Cup Quarterfinal Match, this time between Ted Hart and Jonny Storm. Things fell apart a bit as the Super X Cup Quarterfinal Match between Chris Sabin and Jerry Lynn was upstaged by the ongoing storyline around Lynn. Frankie Kazarian and Michael Shane concluded the Quarterfinals of the Super X Cup with a decent match. It seemed like an odd choice to eliminate the X-Division Champion this early, but I assume they have a plan. The Semifinals of the Super X Cup began with a great match between Juventud Guerrera and Ted Hart. Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian put on an equally good match for their Semifinal Match from the Super X Cup. Chris Sabin and Juventud Guerrera had the match of the night in the Finals of the Super X Cup. Finally, the Wednesday Bloody Wednesday Steel Cage Match between Jeff Jarrett, Chris Harris, D-Lo Brown, James Storm, and Raven and Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Simon Diamond, Shane Douglas, and Johnny Swinger was about as good as it could be given both the stipulation and the fact that they had to follow the Super X Cup."

[8.0] "This show was really strong and probably one of the best shows in TNA history so far. The opener was the only mediocre part of the show, but it was only a one minute squash match. We see a lot of interviews to the wrestlers that are going to participate on the main event, the War Games match, some of them are better than others, for example Raven and James Mitchell. The other big point of the show was the Super X Cup, a really entertaining tournament with some exciting and fast paced matches. The four matches of the first round were under five minutes, but all them were good, exciting action and high spots. Teddy Hart looked strong. On the semifinals we saw Teddy Hart taking on Juventud Guerrera, pretty exciting and cool spots. But Sabin vs Kazarian was better, for me this was the best match of this two wrestlers I've seen so far. Great chemistry. But the match of the tournament was without a doubt the finals between Chris Sabin and Juvi. This two have great chemsitry and did some insane counter sequences. Also was fast paced and had great moves. It's a big win for Sabin to solidifie him as one of the top wrestlers of the company. The main event was a cool war games match with weapons hanging off the cage. It was pretty decent, with some cools spots. I liked that they uses all the existing feuds and threw them to a war games match, it had sense. After the babyfaces win, it happens a big brawl. Douglas and The New Church attack Raven on the ring and cut his hair, building to the future hair vs hair match. It was a great show."

[7.0] "One of the stronger earlier TNA shows thanks largely to the Super X Cup tournament. The main event was not great but was not bad either."

[7.0] "Overall good show. The opener is forgettable and skippable. Super X Cup is great, with the semifinals and finals being the best. The cage match is fun with plenty of blood and violence."
