[4.0] "The matches themselves ranged from decent to bleh (the 'main event'). The segments though ranged from boring to awful. There was a Tenay interview with Disco and Mike Sanders that was great to take a nap to. Konnan brought in Juventud for an interview with Goldilocks, where I'm pretty sure she called him a son of a bitch in Spanish (that was kind of hot). Raven cut a promo on Sandman bringing up the Clockwork Orange House of Fun match, a match name that I've always hated. Vince Russo got about a half hour total of mic time and then at the end, Jeff Jarrett gets his hands on him only to be thwarted by the ever-dangerous trio of Erik Watts, Brian Lawler and David Flair. The best promo of the night belonged to Vince Russo's son via VHS tape, talking about what a deadbeat he was in the politest way possible. Trying to get through the SEX stuff is brutal, but TNA picks up after its over."
[5.0] "Jerry Lynn and Juventud Guerrera had a really enjoyable match, while the other matches were mostly average. If that was all there was it would've been an adequate show, but TNA was severely hampered by the Russo/SEX worked-"shoot" idiocy that was borderline painful during this time."
[5.0] "As is usual with most of Vince Russo-booked shows, there was a lot happening, but nothing of substance. I did like seeing Nikita Koloff again at the end, but it was just a bunch of nonsense bookended by Russorific shit. The dude think he has to be at the center of his own storylines and no one wants to see him. Just go away."
[6.0] "This was a good episode for all the moments not involving Vince Russo. We opened with the Match of the Night as Kid Kash defended his X-Division Title against Jason Cross. The Disciples of the New Church and Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger then had a good match. This was followed by another good match between America's Most Wanted and the Hot Shots. Raven then took on new X-Division member Julio Dinero in a great match. Jerry Lynn continued to defend the honor of the X-Division against Konnan's luchadores, this time against Juventud Guerrera. AJ Styles and the Sandman had a very good match, before we had a surprisingly watchable main event between the Harris Brothers and Dusty Rhodes and Vader."
[6.0] "Almost of the matches on this show were good. The X Division title match was fine, Kid Kash is really good. The Disciples of the New Church vs Swinger and Diamond was cool, as the New Church are intense and wild. Nice match, and their rivals looked fine. AMW vs Hot Shots was another good match on their rivalry, fine stuff. Raven vs Dinero and AJ vs Sandman were two good matches that progress the world title storyline, as they are the two contenders for Jarrett's title. I like how they are setting a rivalry between them, it's quite interesting. Also, their work in the ring is good. Lynn and Konnan's feud is also nice, this time Lynn faces Juventud Guerrera on a nice X Division match, probably my favourite on the card. The main event was the worst match, but it was nice to see Vader having a match on TNA, and he impressed me because even at that stage of his career he could put a good performance. The main problem with this show is all of Russo's segments, I don't care for his storyline or who had the fault of killing WCW or booking WWF, and now they add the "bad father" stuff. It's just horrible, it would be better if Raven or another wrestler had those segments. At least Jarrett had the chance to punch him a couple of times just before Erik Watts made his debut, alongside Brian Lawler and David Flair, and chokeslam him on a table."
[2.0] "Marginally better than some episodes but there's just so much bad stuff in this era. The matches are not too bad, none are great but several are good, specifically the two X Division matches, Raven/Julio, and AJ/Sandman was surprisingly probably the best match on the show, or at least the most interesting one. It was nice to see Vader looking good in short bursts, even past his prime. As usual the show is maligned quite a bit by Russo's constant appearances and promos, all of which are consistently terrible. Russo has many weird obsessions he likes to book around, and we can safely add "having a bad father" to that list. Through the whole show he's obsessed with Dusty's relationship with his kids, Jarrett's relationship to his kids, Russo's own relationship with his kids, and at the end we see David Flair, Brian Lawler, and ERIK WATTS, the guy who failed out of WCW more than a decade earlier, coming out to surely do more bad dad stuff. Very on brand for a Russo booked show to fail in ways you could never predict or, indeed, even believe."
