[4.0] "Rough show. The conceit of NWA-TNA weekly PPVs was that you got four two-hour PPVs for the price of one three-hour WWE PPV. The problem was that what was being presented each week was roughly of the same quality as WWE Raw. The match quality was all over the place, the main storyline with Vince Russo's Sports Entertainment Extreme was ridiculous and saturated with fake insider talk, and the whole thing felt like a replay of the dying days of WCW. There were occasional bright spots, but this wasn't one of them."

[5.0] "Hell, I forgot I watched this show and it was only a week ago. TNA hadn't found its groove yet, but they were slowly improving and would have done it faster if Vince Russo stopped making himself the focus of the promotion."

[5.0] "This was a decent episode by Aslyum standards. We opened with a terrible match between Jorge Estrada and Glen Gilberti. For some reason they had Estrada win before they stripped him of the Flying Elvis gimmick. Sonny Siaki then had the match of his life, defending his X-Division Title against the Amazing Red. BG James had a short match with Tenacious Z, Before we got a decent elimination match between Ron Killings, Jerry Lynn, David Flair and Mike Sanders. Desire and Trinity then stunk the joint out. Finally, The Disciples of the New Church and Triple X had a match of the night contest for the World Tag Team Title."

[5.0] "This show continues the trend of the early 2003 TNA, lots of S.E.X. and some bad matches, such as Disco Inferno vs Estrada, the Four way or Trinity vs Desire or BG James losing to Zack Gowen Also there are some bad segments with Russo. I'm enjoying a lot AJ's road to the world title picture, I think that having Larry Zbyszko with him will help him, he cut a nice promo. Also the brawl with Raven after his promo was great, it's one of the most entertaining things on this shows. Jarrett, Raven and AJ could have some great matches. The X Division Title was nice, probably one of the best Siaki's performances I've seen. And the tag team title match was very good, even with that botched finish. After that, there was the brawl betweem NWA and SEX, with the Jarrett being kidnaped angle, it was a little stupid, but it was nice to see Jarrett beating Russo."

[3.0] "Good things on the show: Both title matches, despite a bad ending to the tag match. Dusty Rhodes did a promo. The AJ/Raven brawl was good. Bad things on the show: Three actively bad matches, including Disco/Estrada somehow being worse than Trinity trying to carry someone who had no business in the ring. Tons and tons of Russo, as usual. A head poundingly dumb angle where SEX wears ski masks all night for no reason, something they never did before, just so we could have an extremely lame reveal at the end that Jarrett was hiding under one of the masks, and by the way apparently Jarrett helps Russo beat up the whole locker room under the mask and didn't bother to help, once again just so we could have a super predictable and dumb reveal moment."
