So many strange booking decisions, not all of them bad but; Ryder winning the IC title, Jericho beating Styles, Lesnar clowning Ambrose, the length of Taker/Shane as well as Shane losing after promising to save Raw from evil Vince if he won, Rock teasing an actual match and then jabroni'ing poor Erick Rowan for no fucking reason whatsoever and the delaying the inevitable in a really boring manner in the main event - all head-scratching stuff both at the time and now, and it makes for a weird and tiring show. |

The Women's triple threat was a fun fast paced bout that gave three of the WWE's best workers time to shine and its the first time the Women had MOTN (8/10) The IC title Ladder match is once again a great opener with plenty of fun spots and a feel good winner in Ryder, genuinely loved the moment when watching the first time (8/10) AJ and Jericho had a good back and forth bout with plenty of their signature moments. Could've been a bit more heated and Styles should've won but 3rd best easily (7/10). Those three are the only good matches on the card, and I'd even say Kalist/Ryback in the pre show was better than most of the main card too somehow. Taker/Shane is a slog for most part that only has a good high spot near the end (4/10) League of Nations/New Day is instantly forgettable and the legends coming out was kinda memorable but a waste of time (4/10) Triple H/Roman while not the worst mania main event, much like Trips match with Orton at 25, despite being decently wrestled its painfully boring (4/10) The Battle Royale barely has any fun spots and felt much more like a pre show match than anything that could've made the main card (3/10) Lesnar/Ambrose was a huge dissapointment with silly "hardcore" spots, Lesnar not giving a damn about the match at all and just treating Dean like a chump (2/10) and for me the worst thing considering how dragged out the show felt, is Rock having a long as hell flamethrower entrance for no reason and the squashing Erick Rowan because who cares right? (0/10) |

It felt like a large scale version of the Elimination Chamber match at December to Dismember 2006, where all the fan favorites were eliminated first, so that the fans would cheer for Lashley to win. Just like that match, WM32 backfired massively, with Reigns vs Triple H having one of, if not the most hostile crowd reactions in Wrestlemania history. The main event is unwatchable due to the clash between what the fans want and what the company wants. |

He hadn't appeared on a PPV since the Last Wrestlemania & now he's getting this Massive Moment & winning the IC Championship. If this was Wrestlemania 28 or 29 it would've been Perfect because he was Over & had Hype to his Name but they missed the Mark here with Miz winning the next night on Raw he should've just won Here. Next we had Jericho v Styles which starts off a bit slow but becomes Great in it's final stages. Jericho however wins on a semi-botched Codebreaker which is just a bit of a letdown. Styles has so much Hype in his first Feud in the WWE & his first Wrestlemania he loses? there was no need for Jericho to Win here. the League of Nations v The New Day was a step down in quality of the First 2 Matches I want to like LoN because It has Potential to be a Good Faction but it just isn't working here. Would've been nice to see New Day win since they were also Over extremely at the Time but I guess they had to make them lose for HBK, Stone Cold & Foley to come out. Brock v Dean was pretty Fun I didn't know about the History of the Backstage shenanigans into it so I was going in unbiased & thought it was Fine but why didn't Brock vs Bray? this Feud felt like it came out of Nowhere just so they could have Dean on the Card. The Womans Match was really good & if Sasha wins instead of once again Charlotte winning due to Ric Interfering then it would be my Fave Womens Match I've seen so far. Such a letdown to not make Sasha win here. Undertaker v Shane was Awesome I loved the Story heading into it I thought Shane was Great & actually Outperformed the Deadman which is probably why people don't like it since Taker is clearly over the Hill at this Point but still was a Great Match. MOTN for Me. the Battle Royal was Fine I was pleasantly surprised to see Corbin win considering the Hype for him in NXT had run its Course but he gets a Fresh Start now in the Main Roster here. WWE bullying Sandow is shit to see just give what the fans want, he's more than a Jobber. Don't see why this had to be on an already long Main Card though. Let's just Skip Over the Rock (Cena) v Wyatt Family stuff because it was a Complete Waste of Time & once again buries Bray for no Good Reason whatsoever. The Main Event is a bit of a let down for a Main Event but I feel like so many people Vote on Emotion instead of actual Match Quality because the Match was decent & not worthy of a 2.78/10. Yeah Roman as Face & this Roman Empire sucks & no one wants to see it but they're at least trying to make it work so i give them Credit for that |

Ich kann mich noch daran erinnern, dass ich einen Tag nach der Show damals, sehr enttäuscht gewesen bin, aber jetzt nach dem "Re-Watch", weiß ich den Grund garnicht dafür. Die Show beginnt mit einem sehr starkem Multi Man Ladder Match, um den Intercontinental Championship. Für mich auch gleich mal direkt das Match Of the Night dieser Wrestlemania. Grade das aufeinander treffen von Zayn und Owens damals hatte einfach Feuer und ich habe auch damals gehofft das Zayn den Titel gewinnt und es im Main Roster eine Fehde zwischen ihm und Owens geben wird, was leider aber nicht dazu kam. Zack Ryder war von allen beteiligten, dann leider der unbeliebteste Gewinner, was man auch an der Reaktion der Zuschauer im Stadion merken konnte (****1/2). Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles war dann natürlich ein absolutes Dream Match und beide haben auch absolut abgeliefert. Das Chris Jericho hier gewinnt war irgendwie zu erwarten (***3/4). The League Of Nations vs. The New Day war dann ein Solides 6 Man Tag Team Match, aber hier geht's vorallem um das, was nach dem Match passiert ist. Ein Wahnsinns Angle, was wirklich nur bei Wrestlemania passieren kann. Sehr schönes Segment mit Michaels, Foley und Steve Austin. Von Lesnar vs. Ambrose war ich dann sehr enttäuscht, aber denke mal die Kritik werde Ich im Guide hinterlassen. Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch war dann das hinter dem Opener, dass beste Match dieser Wrestlemania. Super Spannung, Super Sequenzen und einfach Super Spots (****). Shane McMahon vs. The Undertaker im Hell In A Cell Match, war einfach nur Solide, aber bringt Sequenzen und Spots hervor, an die man sich noch lange erinnern werden. Egal wie schlecht oder wie gut ein Match ist, das was bei den meisten Menschen um Kopf Bleibt sind nicht die guten Matches, denn davon gibt es immer mal wieder neue. Sondern die Momente die man in den Matches kreiert. Und das haben beide hier absolut geschafft (***1/4). Alles bis zum Main Event kann man aber dann auch absolut vergessen, die André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal war absoluter Schwachsinn und Das Segment mit The Rock und der Wyatt Family war Inordnung, aber ich würde es jetzt nicht als gut bezeichnen. Main Event Match war dann absolut Solide, aber keines Wrestlemania Main Event's würdig. Roman Reigns gewinnt den WWE World Heavyweight Championship, was viele Zuschauer in der Arena nicht gefallen hat, aber auch Triple H als WWE Champion zu der Zeit war einfach ein Fehler auch wenn die Story nicht schlecht gewesen ist. Insgesamt war dies jetzt keine Wrestlemania mit Bomben Starken Matches, aber mit Momenten, an die man sich gerne zurück erinnert. 7 Starke Punkte. |

The opening ladder match, Styles/Jericho, and the MOTN in Flair/Banks/Lynch are worth the watch. New Day vs LON is a nothing match with a bit of nostalgia afterwards, no harm no foul really since LON was a dead act that disbanded after this. Lesnar/Ambrose is a waste of a decent feud that made probably the most over face on the roster at the time look like a dork. Undertaker/Shane in the cell is... it's something. One of the weirder matches/feuds in recent memory. It's not very good but it's weirdly entertaining, and it does have the crazy dive. The last hour or so is a tough watch. The Andre memorial match has an NXT callup as the winner which is nice but it's hardly a very interesting battle royal. The Rock is making his sixth 'Mania appearance in a row. It isn't good. The Wyatt Family come out to talk smack and get buried. Not good. John Cena is here to bury them some more. Really not good. Then the main event that nobody wanted that goes too long and gets booed out the building. Very flawed show but three actually enjoyable matches, one strangely enjoyable one, and Snoop Dogg are here to save the day. |

The main event isn't as bad as it's reputation for me because there's an attempt to make it into something but if they wanted to get Roman over (which was near impossible at this point), a 27 minute match with Triple H was not it. Like, not at all. |

Good for Zack. This match ruled. The Zayn/Owens exchanges were incredible, the spots were amazing and few were contrived, I loved the Dusty tribute, and that final stretch was so well done. Bravo to all involved. ****1/4 Chris Jericho vs AJ Styles. They pulled out a really good match. Much like the Fastlane match, a lot of their ideas seemed good in theory but it didn't look good in execution. ***1/2 The New Day vs The League of Nations. The match was a mess and again, the crowd didn't seem to be into the match as much as they were for the pre match and eventually post match stuff. **1/2 Brock Lesnar vs Dean Ambrose. The psychology in this match was amazing. Lesnar didn't use a single weapon until the finish, but Ambrose gave Lesnar the pile of chairs so it puts over the idea that Brock himself is the ultimate weapon. The ways Ambrose was able to gain a small advantage over Lesnar were incredibly clever and he looked like a warrior so taking Lesnar's best stuff and getting that single close near fall on him. **** Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch. The early bad botch by Sasha took people at the match for a little bit but they eventually got the nerves out of their system and had a great match. Awesome sequences that took advantage of the triple threat rules rather than having it working against them, crazy spots where they threw caution to the wind to tear the house down, and they had a major match atmosphere that a women's match at WrestleMania hasn't had since Trish/Mickie James from 22. ***3/4 Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker. Shane is a lunatic, no other to put it. Shane put everything including his life into trying to win this match but he crashed and burned. This was quite the spectacle once they went through the cell and that dive will be an iconic Mania moment. ***1/2 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. This sucked. * Triple H vs Roman Reigns. Triple H once again has a WrestleMania main event that falls flat after following the Shane bumps and a segment with the Rock and Cena. The match was solid but to have a slower methodical match in the final part of a Seven Hour show was insane. The dynamics of the match were wrong too. ***1/4 |

The opener was awesome and it was cool to see Ryder get a big, albeit shortlived, moment in his career. Jericho and Styles had a good match too, though Jericho winning was definitely questionable seeing as Styles would be challenging for the world title at the show after this one. 6 man tag was pointless, should have definitely been for the titles. Brock and Ambrose have a depressing excuse of a street fight. Awful stuff. Women's title match was fantastic and honestly should have been the first women's Mania main event. Hell in a cell match definitely had it's moments, but this was mostly very plodding and Taker having to sell Shane's "strikes" was laughably bad. If this match had taken place 15 years prior it could have been great, but this was not. Battle royal sucked as expected, and Baron didn't benefit from winning at all in the short and long term. The Rock segment and match was a waste of time. Wyatt was at an all time low around this time and this didn't benefit him at all. Main event was one of the most lifeless, dull, and plodding matches I have ever watched. 27 minutes of nothing. It doesn't help that Reigns had already been the champion twice in the last 5 months prior to this match, so it didn't feel like a big deal at all. When the only memorable moment in your WrestleMania main event is Stephanie McMahon being sent through a table, you know your match sucked. If you haven't watched this show, only watch the first two matches and the women's title match, and then turn it off. |
