[6.0] "A overall very solid NOAH show with hardly a bad match. Sort of missing the one massive main event caliber bout, but there was still a lot of entertaining matches for various reasons. Shuhei Taniguchi & Ippei Ota -vs- Akihiko Ito & Thoruf [* 1/2], Yoshinari Ogawa & Masao Inoue -vs- Tamon Honda & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi [** 1/4], Mohammed Yone & Makoto Hashi -vs- Tsutomu Hirayanagi & Jun Izumida [* 3/4], KENTA & Taiji Ishimori -vs- Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Atsushi Aoki [** 3/4], Yoshihiro Takayama & Takashi Sugiura & Takuma Sano -vs- Akira Taue & Ricky Marvin & Kotaro Suzuki [***] Bowl of fun with heavyweights and juniors fighting it out! Seeing Marvin hopelessly punk the great Takayama was pure joy. And he got away with a lot too! Then seeing Taue and Takayama was where the superstar aura laid. However it was Sugiura and Marvin who did more of the groundwork with the others coming in for the crowd pleasing moments. Tatsumi Fujinami & Osamu Nishimura -vs- Mitsuharu Misawa & Go Shiozaki [** 1/2], Naomichi Marufuji -vs- Akitoshi Saito - (GHC Title #1 Contender Tournament - Block A) [** 3/4], Takeshi Morishima -vs- Jun Akiyama - (GHC Title #1 Contender Tournament - Block B ) [** 1/4], Naomichi Marufuji -vs- Takeshi Morishima - (GHC Title #1 Contender Tournament - Final) [** 1/4] Final time and they're already beaten and tired. That didn't stop the big moves and aggression coming. A short main event by NOAH's standards, but they came with their finishers with Marufuji landing his Shiranuhis with one of them coming from the turnbuckle. Morishima had the backdrop suplex and even a bastard style Misawa elbow to the face while sitting over him. Even Marufuji started to look hyped for this match and then it was over with a struggling Pole Shift. Or a leg-hooked Michinoku Driver II if you will. He lost some balance while executing it, but it was a spectacular sight seeing him lift big Mo. Good short sprint."
