[3.0] "This was a complete nothing of an episode. Just a holding episode whilst they start to build new feuds and move on from the last PPV. In ring isn't much to write home about and don't recall much in the way of interesting promos either."

[4.0] "This felt like a more focused episode of Saturday Night, and I am hoping it's a sign that with this set of tapings Ole Anderson has had enough time to come up with a direction for the promotion instead of all the mindless filler that has plagued this show since Watts' unceremonious dismissal. The matches are definitely an improvement, with some of the more skilled members of the roster in action this week. I quite enjoyed the pairing of Benoit/Eaton, and would have liked it if they had the opportunity for a longer run together. They seemed to have potential here and put on one of the more enjoyable squash matches that WCW has has in the last few weeks. The main event may not be anything special, but it's better than anything else has been lately, and it's nice to see some storylines finally beginning to take shape. The highlight of the show for me was Cactus Jack's promo about discovering his sense of pride where he issued a challenge to Vader for next week. It's still far from a perfect show, but this at least marked a step in the right direction."

[4.0] "Another show with a few real matches surrounded by squashes. I caught Jesse's joke about people wearing togas. Coming right off of WM 9. I'd say Jesse was pretty on in general on commentary."

[4.0] "Die 'Paula' Sprechchöre scheinen Mr. Wonderful doch unter die Haut zu gehen, was ihn nicht davon abhält, sich für den ersten Teil seines Squashes über Joey Maggs nicht einmal seiner Robe zu entledigen. Nach Slazenger wird auch Pierce Opfer der Aufbauarbeiten an Cactus Jack. Weitere Squashes folgen umgehend, abgeliefert durch Maxx Payne und Rick Rude. Während Foley sich Richtung Vader orientiert, verkündet der Enforcer, zeitnah Schwierigkeiten mit Barry Windham aus dem Weg räumen zu wollen. Unterdessen rührt der Dream jetzt schon die Werbetrommel für Slamboree im Mai. Das folgende Tag-Match geht in meinen Augen viel zu schnell an Benoit und Eaton. Danach haben Bagwell & Scorpio klar Vorfahrt, welche nun auch beginnen, auf Titelgold zu hoffen. Die letzten Momente gehören dann Anderson & Windham. Etwas komprimierter erscheint das Format etwas weniger konzeptlos, als noch zuletzt."

[3.0] "Im Opener fallen Maggs und einige Fans durch "Paula"- Shirts und Chants auf, was Orndorff zur Flucht bewegt. Allerdings bewegt ihn ein Offizieller zur Rückkehr. Die restlichen Matches sind bis auf den soliden Main Event, bei dem die Cole Twins und die erneut enthusiastischen Fans ihre siegreichen Trainingspartner anfeuern (**1/2) belanglos. Immerhin tut sich etwas in den Storylines. So nimmt Vader eine Herausforderung von Cactus Jack für die nächste Woche an und Arn Anderson prügelt sich am Ende der Show mit dem von ihm herausgeforderten ehemaligen Horseman Barry Windham. Insgesamt unterdurchschnittliche Show mit einem Extrapunkt für die gut aufgelegten Fans."
