The man who this tournament is named after could not show up to the event due to some parole violation (I don't feel like researching it), which was a little dissapointing, but I can't blame Gage as there was nothing he could do about it. Hatred vs. Ramos was a quick squash opener that made Hatred look great while Louie looked like how he did during his match with Ian Rotten at CZW Extreme 8. Cannonball vs. Kyle was ok. I'm not a fan of either of them, but the match wasn't bad. Havoc vs. Tremont was really good. Reminded me of a Tournament of Death opener, very solid but short. MASADA vs. Corporal was a great end to the quarter finals. They beat the piss outta each other and used the panes of glass and cinderblocks well. The 4-way match was fine I guess. It was very incoherent and didn't keep me interested. Cannonball vs. Havoc fell flat to me due to all the interference. I understand having Wifebeater help Havoc was a gift to the fans and supposed to be a feel good moment but all the interference before hand really ruined the match for me. MASADA vs. Hatred was a much better semi-final. Hatred got absolutely mauled by MASADA before passing out. MASADA vs. Havoc was a suitable final. They used the barbed wire ropes and whatever contraption outside the ring the best they could. They were obviously fatigued but they still pulled through. |

| 6 | 20.03.2024 | jjcharg77 | 7.0 | not much to be said that you wouldn't expect coming in. variety of death matches and a colorful cast of wrestlers. not the most impressive but far far from the worst. favorite match is Masada V Corporal Robinson. they went hard for an opening round match to where It was getting uncomfortable. I liked Havoc v Tremont too as it felt like they focused more on the wrestling and the weapon spots felt a lot more rewarding and helped tease the crowd. 4 way was interesting at the end, much I can say for it but was a fun match. the main event was great too, Masada is a death match legend for a reason and doesn't just give a send it in performance. adding that I mainly watched this as it seemed like via cage match that this was when they rebranded from JCW to GCW but they didn't make a big deal outta it. maybe this wasn't but I found it peculiar |

| 8 | 15.02.2017 | sprudel | 6.0 | Dass Nick Gage wieder festgenommen wurde und somit bei diesem Turnier fehlte, ist schon eine kleine Enttäuschung. Die restlichen Jungs haben dennoch versucht, den Fans eine Deahmatch-Show zu bieten, die sich gewaschen hat. Über die bluttriefenden Matches MASADA gegen Corporal Robinson und Nate Hatred oder den brutalen Beatdown Hatreds gegen Ramos lässt sich eben jenes auch behaupten. Im Gegenteil dazu stach Jeff Cannonball gegen Kyle The Beast als richtig mieses Match heraus. Beide sehr langsam und unbeweglich, dazu zahlreiche Botches bei den Ultraviolent-Spots. Getoppt wird das passenderweise durch den "brennenden" Tisch-Spot, bei dem dann einfach alles schief geht. Positiv kam die Outdoor-Location und das für Deathmatch-Turniere durchaus üppige Fanaufkommen daher, weit entfernt von einem Flohmarkthallen-Deathmatch vor 10 gelangweilten Leuten. |
| 9 | 01.01.2016 | Hypocrisy | 7.0 | Nick Gage Invitational UV Tournament bei GCW und Nick Gage kann aufgrund persönlicher Probleme mal wieder nicht dabei sein. Nate Hatred tötet in der Tat den Ersatzmann Lowlife Louie Ramos. Keine Ahnung, warum man gerade ihn ausgegraben hat, aber er hat seine Bestrafung wie ein Mann genommen. Jeff Cannonball von IWA Mid South und der mir bislang unbekannte Kyle The Beast zeigen dann tatsächlich innovative Moves wie Thumbtacks spucken... Havoc vs. Tremont und MASADA vs. Corporal Robinson waren dann für mich die Matches des Abends. Unglaublich jedoch, wieso MASADA schon in der ersten Rundes des Tournaments so geschlachtet worden ist. Nate Hatred zeigt im Halbfinale, dass er nichts verlernt hat. Das Four Way Match war halt da... in Erinnerung bleiben wird maximal der Sprung vom Fahrzeug mit anschließendem Sieg Janelas. Im Finale konnte man gerade MASADA die Anstrenungen ansehen und das Match war dann leider auch nicht mehr gut. Insgesamt ein gut unterhaltendes UV-Turnier mitten in der Stadt und dann auch noch im Freien. Die Atmosphäre hat mir sehr gefallen. |
| 10 | 22.10.2015 | CGNRavens | 5.0 | Fuck! Typisch Nick Gage, er fehlt natürlich bei seinem eigenen Turnier, haha. Und dann geht's los: Nate F'N Hatred, fünf Jahre nach seinem letzten Kampf gegen Louie Ramos. Was heißt Kampf, Ramos wird in einem Squash von Hatred völlig getötet. Man muss Ramos zu gute stehen, das er dicke Bumbs genommen hat und das obwohl er nur Ersatzmann für Gage war. Lighttubes en maße, Gitarrenschlag - Hat der Dicke gut gemacht! Cannonball (fetter Dude ohne Gear) und Kyle (kann definitiv mehr als sein Gegner) können nicht wirklich viel, zeigen aber mit den "Hogan-Andre" Memorial Slam und dem "Reisszwecken" Spucken einige coole Spots. Und was passiert bei diesem soliden Death Match? Ein brennender Tisch muss her, der Protege von Cannonball kriegt diesen nicht angezündet und der Tisch zerbricht nichtmal, argh. Tremont und Havoc sind dann auch die ersten die Aktionen auch mal anteasen, und auch mal eher einen Wrestlingkampf aufbieten. Ja Havoc, richtig gehört. Das Finish ist auch Death Match Turnier untypisch, als Havoc auf Tremont rollt und gewinnt. Corp-Masada ist auch wieder ein Beweis wie dämlich das momentan zu geht: Glasplatte auf dem Rücken Masadas und zack fliegt einfach der Backstein drauf. Masada blutet durchgängig wie ein abgeschlachtetes Schwein, in Runde 1 wohlgemerkt. Wieder Feuer durch ne Glasplatte und Masada kickt bei zwei aus? ! Ja was soll sowas! Ich verstehe nicht, warum das im Jahr 2015 Gang und Gebe ist. Feuer ist das Ende, wie sollen die folgenden Runden denn jetzt noch diese Kömpfe toppen? Das Non-Tournament ist dann auch ein astreines Death Match, haha. Die vier schenken sich nichts, Glas zerbricht, Janela fliegt in ein Barbed Wire Board, Drew Blood hämmert den Thumbtack Bat um sich und Janela beendet mit nem Elbow von einem Konstrukt auf nen Tisch. Kann man die erste Runde überbieten oder dümmer gestalten? Cannonball und sein Protege machen das Match gegen Havoc zu einem Handicap Match, bis der Referee ein einsehen hat und den Hänfling weg s |
