"Tag Team Battle Royal: Aired by WPW on 12/29/84: One was televised on November 17th, and this too is for $100, 000, making this promoter the biggest money mark in history. If it was $10, 000, fine in that a mark in me can at least rationalize a promoter spending that to draw a crowd…but $100, 000 – talk about exposing the business. Precious is w/ J Garvin and is decked in shiny green. It’s basically the same guys from last time w/ a greater concentration coming from AWA. In fact, it’s all AWA w/ some others like K Kong Bundy. It’s fun in that ridiculous spectacle way and also the guys are honorably working at it. The final six are that big baldy, Blackwell, L. Henning, M Saito, C Henning, and N Bockwinkel. M Saito and Henning had a keen fist showdown on the E apron but as Henning was currently on the ‘out, ’ Saito rammed his head on the NE buckle sending Curt out-of-the match of which he sold in a nice slo-mo fashion. L Henning eliminates himself going after the man who eliminated his son. Bundy acts like a face, after getting ‘taught’ by Saito from going to another, wrong corner, w/ Blackwell sending the two heels into each other. Double Avalanches on the W side, and then they throw Bock and Masa over the E side for the victory."
