[6.0] "While the title stuff is of a decent quality, particularly the Aries match, as a show, this is another that just cannot click with me with modern TNA. I don't think it was right to make Spud give away the X Title so soon after winning, it's turned out to really hurt that belt and the directionless, faceless X Division matches between jobbers right now are starting to leave a bad taste in the mouth and are seriously damaging the reputation of the title. TNA still have plenty of talented X Division performers, just a real void of charisma there at the moment. TNA would do well to set up some kind of long-lasting Spud/Kenny King program. Yeah, decent big title stuff, the rest seems complete afterthought. Not exactly the viable alternative to WWE it could've been, just WWE in a slightly different hat."

[7.0] "Solid show for the most part. I wish the X-Division guys had more time on the show. The opener between Spud and Kurt was good. Spud proved that he can hang with Kurt. The main event was good to. Still wish that TNA would do more with Austin Aries. He is a main event player ever since he was in ROH. TNA Destination X is a 7 out of 10 in my opinion. Still has room for improvement."

[7.0] "A solid show, though I'm getting pretty sick of old man Angle's title reign. Spud and Aries put in good efforts though, and some of the X Division matches were very entertaining. Zema and Mark Andrews both impressed me a lot especially, some very nice in ring talent on display."

In my opinion, TNA should had done more with X-Division and give them more time. The opener was entertaining and Spud proved that he is a great wrestler. Fast forward to the main event aka. the MOTYC. Probably not the definite match of the year however it was great. To be honest, Austin should had won the title but they're building Kurt to face Ethan Carter III for the title."
