And that was almost the biggest excitement the match had. Hiroshi Tanahashi -vs- Milano Collection AT - (G-1 Climax - Block B ) [**] Milano was slippery and clever, but Tanahashi is the same and they traded a few counter moments which kept the match alive. Giant Bernard -vs- Hiroyoshi Tenzan - (G-1 Climax - Block A) [*], Masahiro Chono -vs- Akebono - (G-1 Climax - Block A) [3/4*], Shiro Koshinaka -vs- Shinsuke Nakamura - (G-1 Climax - Block B ) [* 1/2] This started asstastic! But then Nakamura took over and it became a fairly bland bout. Togi Makabe -vs- Yuji Nagata - (G-1 Climax - Block A) [** 1/4] A month after their massive bloodfest when Makabe challenged for Nagata's IWGP Title they meet again in a important match in the G-1 tournament. However this wasn't close to the dramatic July match. It wasn't even close to their March match. It never caught fire. Some typical Makabe brawling and hard Nagata kicking. But no drama outside of that."
