[8.0] "Good show with 3 enjoyable different matches. Lucha Underground arena was always a small hot crowd. MOTN was Mack vs Cage but none of the matches were bad. Built up well to what the season finale well."

[8.0] "A good start to Ultima Lucha. Mack and Cage had a brutal fight while The trios tore the how down. Angelico made a leap from the top of the stage to the concrete floor in a OMG moment. Good first hour. Looking forward to the finale."

[7.0] "The first half of Ultima Lucha is a pretty good show Three matches sub 10 minute matches for the feuds that didn't need more based on their build. Cage vs. Mack was the right choice to start. A lot of fun spots came out of the falls count anywhere gimmick. Mack's Stone Cold Impression for a near fall and the Curb Stomp finish specially (8/10) Disciples of Death vs. The Unlikely Trio is a fine match, hampered a bit by Ivelisse still being injured and the Discples not being amazing. Havoc and Angelico carry the match in terms of wrsetling while Catrina's presence makes the story work (6/10) Drago vs. Hernandez was a solid match. The Believers Backlash was a nice addition to it. The Nunchuck spot was very fun. Episode ends on a high note with Drago winning (7/10)"

[6.0] "Finally Ultima Lucha is here. The first night started in a great way with an insane fall count anywhere between Cage and Mack. The ending was brutal. Then the Disciples of Death win the trios titles after an average match. The best part of it was Catrina's involvement, she is great. Then on the main event Drago defeated Hernandez on a lumberjack match, it was clear who was going to win, but they did some cool spots. Also, I loved the first and last segments with Black Lotus, Dario Cueto and Dragon Azteca, I want to know more of who killed Lotus parents. It's interesting. I'm excited for the second night."

[7.0] "Really good first part of Ultima Lucha. Opener was MOTN with Cage and Mack having a chaotic brawl all throughout the temple, ****. Trios match was alright, but at least we had a signature Angelico high spot, ***1/2. Main event was pretty good, yet clunky with the match format, ***3/4."

[7.0] "This episode was good, but I found the last 2 matches a little bit of a let down. Cage vs Mack was pretty good, and featured a lot of cool spots and bumps. The trios match was quite disappointing, but did feature another insane dive from Angelico. Drago vs Hernandez was an ok fun match to watch, but not brilliant."

[7.0] "Overall, a really good show. The MOTN was definitely Mack vs Cage, which was a great Falls Count Anywhere Match (*** 3/4). Trios match was fine, but unspectacular (** 1/2), and the main event a decent match (***). An enjoyable show, with an incredible opener and a solid rest of the show."

[9.0] "Unbelievably good first hour of Ultima Lucha. The Mack vs Cage is an epic opener. The Trio match is not great, Son of Havoc had few minutes for him and Angelico got the best spot of the night, but I don't care too much about the other Trio. Drago vs Hernandez has a good involvement of the fans (the Believers). That was a decent main event. Great show!"

[8.0] "Opening match stole the show! Mack and Cage were beyond awesome! Pretty mad the nobodies of the disciples of death won the trios titles but the main event was very entertaining and was a well worth watching event!"

[10.0] "What a fantastic kick off to the season finale special. Cage & the Mack was one of my favorite matches of the whole year in any promotion, and the main event turned out excellent despite my worries about the stipulation. Drago misting Hernandez in mid dive was freaking fantastic. I am not so happy about the Trios Titles changing hands, but Angelico's leap off the top was incredible."
