[10.0] "Show is consistently amazing, it oozes both quality and energy as it is helped with the threading of a storyline through it as Lethal and Joe put on a masterclass and then the Rottweilers run rough shot with Lethal being the target of their terror, making for a chaotic main event. The original planned Best of American Super Juniors Tournament final is on the show, and is a great match as expected. Whiter/Jacobs vs Strong/Evans is wild and another match that personifies the energy of the evening. Aries continues his tremendous streak as champion against his most technically sound challenger, making for a highly spirited and competitive match. What makes the show a worthwhile watch is that ROH energy, everyone jam packed in a venue on top of each other, engrossed in everything before them and loudly cheering for all the amazing action, except for Azrieal...obviously."

[9.0] "At the time that this took place it was definitely a frontrunner for best ROH event to date - and it's still awesome now. Just about everything outside of the opener (which is still good enough) is awesome, with a wide variety of wrestling styles on display. There's great mat wrestling, heated grudge matches, exciting high spots, memorable events, and interesting stories. It's perhaps missing that one true MOTYC to really put it over the edge, but you can't really complain when the show is so consistently high quality overall. Excellent show."

[8.0] "This is one of early ROH's best overall cards. There's no one match that's absolutely blow away amazing here - Joe and Lethal is probably my favorite match of the night and I was more impressed with Gibson/Black Tiger than I expected to be - but there were no 5* or even **** 1/2ers here. There's a lot of early ROH that's defined by these amazing 1 to 2 matches that approach 5* territory with undercards of either mediocre or outright bad stuff...but this show was the opposite of that. Everything on offer here is so damn consistently solid that you can't help but be pleased at the end of the day even if there was some stuff (Shelley feeling like an afterthought, the blown finish of Cabana/McGuiness, the tag title match) that dragged my enjoyment down a smidge. 2003-2005 ROH is one of my favorite promotional runs in history, and shows like this one that bring a CONSISTENT high level of in ring action coupled with good in between storytelling is why. Pretty highly recommended from me."

[7.0] "In watching ROH from its inception, this is probably their best show thus far. It didn't have anything blow-away, but it had too many good matches for me to consider it anything less than a really good show. Special K opener was a typically mindless but spotfest. **3/4. Nigel vs Cabana was alright as a novelty technical match with really crisp and occasionally creative technical exchanges. The comedy held it back, unfortunately ***. Tiger vs Gibson was quite good, with strong technical work, smooth chemistry, and good general intensity and aggression. Gibson's powerful attacks were all really good, while Tiger impressed with his agile attacks and sudden submissions. Lots of cool and creative counters in the final 1/3rd. I wouldn't have minded another 5 mins. ***1/4. Whitmer & Jacobs vs Evans & Roddy was pretty good. Both teams had the fun dynamic of a power-based guy and a smaller and more agile guy. Evans was very good with all his acrobatics, Roddy and Whitmer both played really good powerhouses/bruisers, and Jacobs was a really endearingly fiery babyface. Both teams had some really impressive tag spots that creatively mixed both members' unique styles together, making for some exciting moments. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Lethal vs Joe was pretty good, involving a lot of impressively stiff strike exchanges and some sweet bomb trades. As usual, I didn't care much for the Pure rules themselves, since I didn't feel they added much meaningful drama/ Nonetheless, Joe played a great immovable monster, and Lethal sold well as the fiery underdog babyface. They had some impressively explosive bomb trades in the final few minutes, too. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Punk vs Rave was fine, just not my kind of thing. It was a decent hardcore brawl, with the dog-collar chain used in a few cool ways, but it wasn't remotely special apart from that. Both had decent actual wrestling attacks but likewise nothing too exciting. The massive interference at the end dragged it down further. **1/2. Aries vs Shelley was easily MOTN. They told a really good story of knowing each other so well that they could constantly predict and thus evade and counter the other whether they were going for a signature move or not. Both hit all their offence with great technique and impact, and their chemistry was extremely smooth. Very exciting trades and near falls in the final 1/3rd, and I just wish they went on longer. ***1/2 Lethal & Joe vs Homicide & Ki was made the impromptu main-event after the latter came down to the ring after the World Title match, and it ended up being a really good sprint, probably the 2nd best MOTN behind Aries vs Shelley. Great intensity, speed, and impact from all 4, with them all also highlighting the nice story of Lethal and Joe being already worn down from their match earlier in the night, compared to their far fresher opponents. All 4 hit some sick moves, especially Ki, making for a very explosive match despite being sub 10 minutes. ***1/4 - ***1/2"

[10.0] "This show was freaking amazing! Every match was at least **+ with 3 ****+ matches and the Joe/Lethal match being a classic bout IMO. The crowd was hot for the entire show and gotta say Joe/Lethal was my MOTN while Punk/Rave was my least favorite MOTN and that's saying something given the opener of the show along with how Nigel/Cabana went. This is definitely a show I highly recommend checking out though."

[10.0] "Words cannot actually do this show justice, it was fucking awesome from start to finish. There is not one match on this show that was below average, four of the matches were great. There was strong wrestling and chaotic brawling, this is what a great show should be. Two Thumbs Up"
