[6.0] "The problem with the format of the show is that the roster was very top heavy at the time. It felt like very easily the only teams you needed to care about were the ones on the DVD cover. With some small tweaks, you probably could've made that 4-team group into 5 or 6. But no one was buying the ROH students or RCE & Generico winning a match. So that drags the entire show down some notches. Within the tournament, there is some decent threads like Punk wanting revenge on the Embassy, and Danielson/Homicide dominating their semifinal match. But really, this is a rough use of a lot of talent like Spanky, Nigel, and Cabana. This show continued push of some fresher faces of 2005 which is nice, but clearly some didn't work out like Vordell Walker. Would've enjoyed Lethal already winning the Pure title in February and being part of Joe's team here. Fun fact that this is Kevin Steen's main show debut. Not much of a spotlight here, but small peek into the future on this show with him and Generico."

[6.0] "This was a fairly good show, albeit one with issues. Primarily I just don't think the concept of a show full of six-man tags works very well. I like the idea of each member of the winning team getting to book their own match, but seeing so many six-man tags in the same night just burnt me out by the end and I found it difficult to stay engaged even if the matches were largely good. I did like the CM Punk vs. Embassy feud running throughout the show, and the Danielson/Joe/Walker vs. Gibson/Spanky/Nigel match was great (and an easy choice for MOTN), but I thought that the show as a whole needed more variety or at least a stronger story thread in the tournament itself in order to hold my interest."

[8.0] "Good show overall. Started with promos from Corino, Punk and Cabana followed by El Generico and The Ring Crew Express which this was way worse because they are to young for good promos and need practice. There's a lot of story with CM Punk wanting the Embassy, Corino wanting Homicide and to bring in his Extreme Horseman, Joe wanting Aries but also he wants to watch over Lethal and make sure he's okay as Joe trains Vordel Walker. Lethal got attacked and Is working inured its all good stuff. Best match was that Finals that everyone seems to overlook but I see why given the performance Daniel's did in the first round."
