[6.0] "This is a one match card, and that 'one match' is one that will be very inaccessible to a large number of fans due to how incredibly long it is. While there are some meaningful story developments in the two Rottweiler tag matches, the majority of the matches are very average, and nothing that's worth going out of your way to see. The ROH World Title match isn't even included on the DVD release at all, as unfortunately Trent Acid broke his ankle early in the match, so they end up simply airing a few clips from it instead. If you're checking this show out, it's almost certainly going to be for the main event (or purely for the sake of completion, as was the case for me), and it's a match that is strictly for perhaps the most niche audience of wrestling fans. Over 70 minutes is an extremely long time for a one-on-one match, and while I think there were elements of the match that were extremely well done, it was simply too long to hold my attention for its entire duration - and I'm somebody who is partial to some pretty niche wrestling as it is. If a 70 minute match sounds right up your alley then you may very well love this, because there is definitely some good wrestling there, but for the majority of wrestling fans it'd be pretty difficult to give a very strong recommendation to anything on this show."

[6.0] "The first half of the show was made up by a bunch of acceptable but not especially exciting matches, while the second half was made up by the 70+ mins of the main-event which solidified this as a decent show but still wasn't great enough to bump the show any higher. Walters vs Nigel had very nice strikes and technical exchanges, plus a good sense of both guys getting very aggressive and personal. Good chemistry in everything. ***. Strong vs Izzy was a nice bruiser-vs-high-flyer match. Strong had really good strikes and back-targeting power moves, while Izzy had some decent high spots despite being a bit awkward and botchy. **3/4. Maff & Whitmer vs Carnage Crew was initially a lame brawl but it developed into some mildly fun big-move spam. **1/2. The 4 Corner Survival Match didn't have much story, instead just having all 4 guys trade solid moves with strong chemistry and at a nice pace. Each guy had his own unique style, making for some nice interactions. ***. Homicide & Low Ki vs The Briscoes was alright. It had stiff strikes, good intensity, nicely realistic exchanges, and a good story of Low Ki and Homicide dominating and The Briscoes valiantly struggling to fight back. The issue was that I never thought their exchanges or spots were especially creative or interesting, with everything instead just being at a 'decent' level most of the time. ***. The big post-match mass brawl was pretty cool, having a nice worked-shoot element to it with how immensely pissed off and aggressive everyone was. Punk & Cabana vs Reyes & Rocky had nice intensity due to how stiff and aggressive the Pitbulls were, with Cabana likewise doing well to respond with some impactful attacks of his own alongside his usual array of goofy but logical technical moves. Punk was good with his spiteful character work, but his offence itself was just 'okay' due to his lack of athleticism and physicality. The Pitbulls' beatdown work was good, and despite Punk's face-in-peril segment not being especially good, Cabana still got a fun hot tag. Shame about the rushed 'lucky' finish. ***. Joe vs Acid was cut short and only shown in clipped form due to Acid's ankle injury. A shame, since this could have been interesting at the very least. NR. Danielson vs Aries was obviously the selling point of this show, making up half of its entire length with its absurdly long 74-minute length. It was a really good match by the end, but that first half definitely dragged on quite a lot with the heavy technical focus and the lack of any real urgency. They picked up in the second half as they upped the pace and went for more convincing, creative, and generally more exciting exchanges and spots, but they still never stayed too long in that "great" territory to justify the match going that long. Still some really good, even great stuff in there, but spread too thinly over 70+ minutes. If cut to about 40 minutes max then this could have been something special. ***1/2"

[8.0] "A fantastic main event, capping a show riddled with fun little matches. Certainly a big success in making both Bryan and Austin huge players in ROH."
