[7.0] "This was the start of the time of whenever TNA had a PPV, everyone would say 'this looks like the last show' and there is shades of that feeling on the show. The Strom/Magnus match was great and totally felt like both guys were saying farewell. That combined with a wild Matt Morgan match, Mike Tenay returning to the booth and Jarrett winning the main event and there is a strange tone to the show. That aside, this show is a hidden gem in TNA's history. Some great matches (go out of your way to watch Aries/Davey) with a great feud ended and a fun main event make this worth a watch. The undercard does stop this from being a smash hit show, with some pointless tags to build to iMPACT (classic TNA) and the BroMans stinking out the joint. The commentary was pretty bad between Josh & Pope, but Tenay held it together and was fantastic. Overall, I enjoyed this show and would say it's worth a watch."

[7.0] "What a fun event this was! While there were few solid 7s, it didn't quite matter to me, as with the exception of that terrible Tyrus ordeal, we had fun, action-packed matches firing off one after another all event long. I'd have been happy to have paid for this in full, in the day. A highlight was definitely the Magnus / James Storm bout, full of nasty hardcore action and a fast-paced, unkind tone with an interesting end that made me wish to watch pertinent television."

[7.0] "Overall a very enjoyable show but a very strange edition of Slammiversary. The show had little build and matches seem very inconsequential yet the wrestlers worked their socks off to put on on one hell of a show. It was clear that they were using the PPV to build to an episode of Impact, which I'm sure most people will have cottoned on, is the wrong way around. When you look at this with a wider lens you can see this is due to the bulk tapping schedule they had in place at the time. So in short, go enjoy the show and some good quality matches, just pretend it is not Slammiversary and you will have a great time."

[5.0] "The filming conditions (having been filmed AFTER the subsequent TV) meant a weak card that definitely showed. Aries vs. Richards delivered, and the main event was fun, but there isn't much else to see."

[4.0] "One of the most awkward, "weekly TV" or even "house-show" type of PPV, perfectly reflecting the slow inevitable death of TNA. No main title match, no tag team title match, this show is just hard to care about. The best matches on a card was definitely Austin Aries/Davey Richards and James Storm/Magnus, but even they are very revealing examples. Austin clearly wasn't give a shit, Storm and Magnus did their best, but feud itself was just so nonsensical that nobody from the audience cared, which is a shame. Talking about everything else in the card: X-Division match was forgettable, but fine. Robbie/Jessie - nothing match with a bad finish, Bram/Morgan - worst brawl on a show, women's and men's tag matches just meaningless, clumsy and don't have the right to be in the PPV card. And "King Of The Mountain" match was disappointing and absolutely predictable, if we mention the stupid special rules. They buried four big TNA stars just to give a title to "Global Force" wrestler. I'm surprised that this company didn't die completely."

[8.0] "The only problem about this show was the build up. It was either non-existent (KOTM match, X-Division match), or lame (Magnus-Storm, Bram-Morgan). The matches were average at worst, awesome at best (especially Magnus Vs. Storm which was one of the best recent street fights). So yeah, 8 points!"

I surprisingly enjoyed robbie vs jessie plus it was great to see the return of the King of the Mountain and the one of Jeff Jarrett even if the end was very predictable. To me the Austin Aries vs Davey Richards was simply great but the best match in my view was Magnus vs James Storm, it was very creative, had several memorables moments and the end was amazing."

[9.0] "A show with no bad matches and a couple of really good ones, with Aries/Davey and the main event especially standing out. It's a shame they couldn't work it better into the storylines due to the taping schedule, but still a night of really good wrestling overall."

[6.0] "The way the scheduling of TV tapings worked out absolutely hurt Slammiversary (in no way should the main event have been anything but the Angle vs. EC3 title match), and using PPV to build TV always sucks - especially when that TV is already taped. With that being said, the show in and of itself was not bad at all, with three standout matches. The King of the Mountain match is a concept I'm not exactly a fan of - way to needlessly complicated for its own good - but in this instance it was well-performed with some good action, and the result, while slightly predictable, does bring up all sorts of questions moving forward about the TNA-GFW connection. Aries vs. Richards was also excellent (though again, this should have been on Impact with the Iron Man final tag match being on PPV), as was Storm vs. Magnus. Nothing on the undercard was bad from an in-ring standpoint either. Given the circumstances, about as good an effort as you could hope for."

[7.0] "This is the first TNA show I've watched in a while, and I found it to be an enjoyable event. Austin Aries v Davey Richards was unsurprisingly the best match of the night, but Storm-Magnus and the KOTM matches were both good as well. The only bad one was the tag match with Mr Anderson, Bobby Lashley, and Brodus Clay."

[4.0] "Even though the matches were alright, the booking is what really killed this show for me. Here is why: - There were no title matches announce for this PPV, beside from X-Division Title which was literally added hours before the show, so there was no real build up to it. - As for the X-Division Match, Rockstar Spud and Kenny King were not present, even though that they were former X-Division Champions months ago and they were fairly pushed. Instead we've got DJ Z and Manik, who have been on a giant losing streak. - Bram and Matt Morgan match was poorly build up and just thrown at the last minute. - Knockouts match was way too short and it felt like a TV Match. - Brodus Clay Co-Main Evented this show. Need I say more about this? - No Beat Down Clan vs Rising Match on this PPV. In fact BDC was not even on this show. - Most wrestlers in KOTM Match were in a fued with other wrestler (Roode with Wolves, EY with Melendez and Drew with BDC), yet none of those fued matches were in PPV. - Jeff Jarrett winning KOTM... in 2015."

[6.0] "The story of recent TNA, a card with no real bad matches but booking so poor and flawed it blows your mind. A directionless X Division match to start off, zero bad blood between either three while Rockstar Spud and Kenny King have the night off. The peculiarity of having matches on a PPV that build to title matches on TV is both baffling and really hurts the matches it affected. Magnus & James Storm's double-farewell saw them brawl in an electrics area, which affected the audio for the entire rest of the show to continue the farcical theme. The main event was fun enough, but the winner was very telegraphed and the strangeness of a King of the Mountain Championship is not very appealing sounding. While we know as little as we do for sure about the working relationship between TNA and GFW, we may not be able to tell how relevant this show was for quite a while yet."
