[7.0] "Looking back at this show as I decided to watch some of the old New Years Dash events. My favourite part of this show is both Okada & Tanahashi, WK9's main eventers, losing here after all the damage they took the night before. In addition to some good wrestling there are some departures, a debut (it's Cody Hall, but still), and they set up a bunch of upcoming title matches for the next tour. Really easy show to watch."

[5.0] "Fun show this the day after the Tokyo Dome. Opener and the Nakamura 6 man were really good (***1/4), Liger/Desperado was also a good match, nice to see a more aggressive Liger (***). The rest of the show was amusing and easy to watch."

[6.0] "That show was interesting because we have new storyline's and card's for The New Beginning in February. This was like WWE RAW after WrestleMania - interesting event. Matches was good and bad but on this event that was not the most important."

[6.0] "Classic new year's show. Time Splitter & Taguchi vs. Bullet club is the match of the night. The NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title Match and the main event are also enjoyable."

[8.0] "A decent follow up the night after WK9. More fast paced action with a lot of tag matches. Wrestling is still superior to US brands but what took away from this show was the lack of one on one matches. Stories progressed, injuries from WK9 were sold, and new challengers for two belts came forward. Did not need to speak Japanese to enjoy this show. All in all... pretty good. Love the intimate setting of Korokuen, love the audience participation, and proud to say ive seen a show there. Enjoy for yourself!"
