108.12.2017PUNQ6.0One of the essential AJPW shows of '07. Both for the matches and the storyline happenings! Taiyo Kea & John Williams & Phil Atlas -vs- Joe Doering & Nobukazu Hirai & T28 [* 1/2], Pepe Michinoku -vs- NOSAWA Mendoza - (Junior League - Block A) [* 1/2], Chris Sabin -vs- AKIRA - (Junior League - Block B) [**], Kensuke Sasaki & Satoshi Kojima & Kiyonari Sanada -vs- Kohei Suwama & TARU & "brother" YASSHI [***] Yes! Sasaki goodness pounding the Voodoo Murders down and with Kojima doing the same still insisting on his innocence. It was so great watching the two heavyweights explode with fury gaining revenge for any bad stuff the bad men did. Keiji Muto & Ryuji Hijikata -vs- Minoru Suzuki & Mazada [**], Dick Togo -vs- Miguel Hayashi Jr. - (Junior League - Block B) [** 3/4] Since they know each other so well, they put together a strong match which got fairly exciting toward the end. Most of the build up was Hayashi working on Dick's leg. Hayashi first blow to the leg was a partly missed bodypress out on the apron, but he got in better stuff on the leg the next few minutes making it hard for Togo to get away. But the leg work only made Hayashi have the momentum a while because Togo fought back and we all know that brings quality! Shuji Kondo -vs- Katsuhiko Nakajima - (Junior League - Block A) [***] Very similar to their February 17th AJPW Junior Title match with spectacular impact stuff happening.
All Japan in 2007 ist wirklich gut anzusehen. Die Mängel in den Matches selbst sind großteils diese, welche man heutzutage überall im Wrestling sieht. Damit muss ein alter Purist wie ich in diesen Zeiten wohl leben. (aus meiner Review der Show)
