[6.0] "While last week's matchup between Windham and Anderson was better than anything on this week's show, this was the easier episode to watch overall. I definitely prefer the shorter episodes of Saturday Night, as they feel far more appropriately paced for what they are, and are much easier to sit through and a result. There were some great promo segments on this show, particular the one where Cactus headbutts a crate (which got a good laugh out of me). Rude has a pretty good one, too. The main event was solid, albeit unremarkable, but the show as a whole was a fun watch that did a nice job setting up Beach Blast."

[6.0] "I thought this was a fun, and very easy watch for this edition of WCW Saturday Night. This episode kicks off the Bill Watts era on-screen in WCW. This show is mostly squash matches, but they're all fun to some extent besides the Super Invader match; a gimmick I am now very tired of. The best part of this show was easily the main event, but my favourite performance of the episode was Cactus Jacl, who had a good interview and did good on commentary during Sting's match."
