101.01.2020Paul Allain6.0The first quarterfinals was extremely fun and could have been much longer with no problem, the second quarterfinals was a foregone conclusion that took detours to get there, with Alex Colon's interference being particularly annoying, the third quarterfinals showed intensity from all guys and managed to inject a little suspense into it while making all guys viable prospects, while the fourth quarterfinals was an exciting high-flying contest that build up genuine suspense and was certainly the best match of the tournament. The Ladder Match was fun, not very clean or fluid, but a solid mean of solidifying the title reign of the champion. Biff/Chuck was a decent but slow match that never went out of first gear, but did show Biff Busick's selling abilities. Fox/Drake had a good pace and was an awesome performance by AR Fox, but tacked on an abrupt finish and for the third year in a row robbed AR Fox form a climactic victory, a really stupid booking move that hurts his legacy for no reasonable reason. The Finals was a good intense battle, with Biff Busick having a starmaking performance where he looked absolutely awesome, but CZW went the obvious, silly, phony, idiotic road of giving the victory to a departing overrated talent that can do nothing for them with the victory. The show is overall good, with the tournament having great workrate , but the booking being awfully transparent and worthless, making for an average middling core show, added to which a mid-range ladder match with flaws but enough substance to bump the quality a notch, giving a good event that would have been exponentially better with better logical booking that had any future benefits at all.
218.04.2014Sick Boy5.0Kein herausragendes BOTB.
Die Show müsste korrekter "Best of the Best that we can book XIII" heißen.
