[6.0] "I'm going to be an outlier here, but for me this is a distinctly average show. Most matches are average at best and its main point of interest is to see the early indie days of wrestlers like Pac and El Generico. Whilst historically important, PWG ha not felt like anything special to me so far."

[9.0] "All Star Weekend V was a success for PWG, with each night having it's own thematic. Night 1 revolved around technical wrestling display. Generico/PAC, Shelley/Hayashi, Strong/Romero, Richards/Ki and even Castagnoli/Tornado were all good to great matches that focused on mat wrestling, chain wrestling and submission to immerse the crowd into an excellent competitive atmosphere. Outside of the weak meandering of the opener and the 8-men tag, as well as the different approach of Kikutaro/Classic (good comedy match) and Steeen/Evans (good squash match), the technical wrestling quality was outstanding, with El Generico vs PAC being an absolutely marvelous main event. A couple of hiccups along the way makes this less then perfect, but this show remains at an elite level."
