[5.0] "Sad that they couldn't generate more fanfare on such a big show. Plenty of matches that could have been something, but the will do give something back didn't seem to be there on this day. They'd had much smaller shows better and with more of an effort then this. Disappointing. Only curiosity is to see Kurt Angle wrestle for New Japan. Kurt Angle making his NJPW debut! The Olympic hero teaming with a former champion amateur wrestler Nagata. And what more fitting against two former WWE. Don't expect fireworks. It was mainly a presentation of the American superstar who just did what he always do. Nagata got the chant from the fans, which might tell you that Angle, who's been one of the major US stars this decade, doesn't mean too much for the NJPW fans. Angle got a okay response doing a bunch of weak-mans Germans and popping up to save his team here and there. Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) -vs- Koji Kanemoto - (IWGP Title) [** 3/4]"

[6.0] "Eine Solide Show. Die ersten 4 Matches waren Schwach bis Solide & die Non-Title Matches die danach kamen waren Solide bis Gut. Matches of The Night aufjedenfall die beiden Titel Matches die von der Geschwindigkeit, Teschnik und dem Guten Selling einfach nicht zu überbieten waren. Beide Title Matches (***3/4) & der Rest (**) - (***)."

[5.0] "Mäßige Show, die mich nicht so wirklich überzeugt hat. Ein paar Matches waren ganz nett, aber vieles war einfach "Standard-Kram", der nicht der Rede wert ist. Der Main Event jedoch richtig klasse und viel stärker als ich dieses Heavyweight vs. Junior Heavyweight-Match eingeschätzt hätte, wirklich gut."
