[9.0] "Thekla is an amazing entertainer. She truly is an intimidating heel wrestler that is tough & flashy. Her speaking ability is very good as well, & she is always radiating CHARISMA. She flows great in the ring & has a very nice move-set. Thekla is doing amazing in AEW & I always look forward to seeing her on television. I can't wait to watch her matches in STARDOM as well!"

[9.0] "It's exceptionally rare that I'm this impressed with someone this quickly. Great on promos & in-ring, with an intense & purposeful style, cool gimmick, excellent ring gear, she's the full package & the real deal. She's so good at this that she had a match with Harley Cameron & it wasn't absolutely awful."

[7.0] "Maybe I underestimated her in ring quality for what I saw at Stardom. Never ever caught an eye on her, but now I think it is time to pay some attention for her work, almost weekly, for AEW. One of the few cases that a wrestlers worked way better for AEW than for Stardom. Still, don't see her as a world champion level, maybe TBS pretty late that year."

[5.0] "She hasn't clicked with me just yet. The triangle of madness stuff just doesn't scream anything crazy to me but she can wrestle a watchable match and that's important. Her look is cool too that's for sure."

[8.0] "I didn't know who she was until she debuted in AEW. I've since watched several of her matches from Stardom and I like what I see. She has a great look, cool gimmick, and a great name."

[9.0] "Thekla is so insanely fun to watch! I love how she is almost comically intense and aggressive and her feuds with Hayter and Aminata were pure chaos and hard-hitting. I really need to check up on her Stardom work."

[8.0] "Enjoying Thekla's intense and sometimes unique style. Really good in the ring and delivers a decent promo too. Got a lot of nice submissions. Had lots of cool looks over her few short years in the mainstream too."

[3.0] "writing this review based on her time in stardom: very overrated, western stardom fans definitely gave her a lot of western tax. very boring to watch. she was alright when she was in DDM but then she went to HATE and started trying to force this whole western sports entertainment styled gimmick and she became unwatchable. also ruined HATE while she was there, that unit is much better with her gone. annoying to watch and not in the heel way."

[8.0] "She's not being booked well at all but she's clearly a very good wrestler. She's fast, freakishly agile, explosive, she's super good at striking and she's technically proficient on top of being flashy, charismatic and good on the mic but much of that doesn't translate well enough with poor booking. She could be a top talent in AEW if she were placed into decent storylines and allowed to go all out but as of now she's mainly appearing in mostly meaningless tag matches and before that her aura got squashed after her first match when she fought Queen Aminata. She's a great heel and could be doing so much more."

[6.0] "Do you ever see a wrestler that should have all the makings to be a great and badass heel and yet just seems to fall flat? That is Thekla to me right now. She is an incredibly great and unique look, she's solid in the ring with a unique style, hell she's even not that bad on the mic. The problem is it's sometime so hard to get behind her as a believable heel. She either is they type of heel that relies to much on outside interference/cheating, not making her a great threat in the ring, or she is being a badass in the ring but being booked to look like an absolute joke when she loses. Thekla has all the tools needed to break out in AEW, we've seen flashes of her true potential in Stardom. But I fear that until she truly commits to a certain aspect of her many gimmicks, she'll be forever stuck in a rut."

[8.0] "Solid and underrated talent. Thekla brings a unique mix of charisma, athleticism, and character work that stands out, especially in an era where many wrestlers feel interchangeable. Her in-ring style blends speed, striking, and technical skill, and she sells her persona well without overdoing it. While she's not always given the spotlight, she consistently makes the most of her opportunities and adds flavor to any match she's in."

[4.0] "Fine in ring but very annoying heel work, and not in the good way. I struggle to see why her rating on here is so high, outside of her cool look and the spider walk thing, there isn't much to her. Editing this cause I mentioned stardom and she is no longer there."

[8.0] "The look. The prescense. The ring work. She may not have been the greatest in stardom but since coming to the U.S. she has been killing it She has proven herself more than capable in ring and has become very over with the American crowd very quickly match that with her fantastic presentation and I think Thekla has all the tools to become an AEW world champion down the road"

[9.0] "EDIT: Finally free from Stardom, she moved to AEW and in America, her antics and chaos energy is going to fit well. Stardom always seemed confused as to what to do with her and preferred others in every faction she was in... But alone in America, I feel her potential is sky high without Stardom's faction obsession weighing her down... My favorite in Stardom (and now AEW! ). I loved the new loose cannon/anti-Idol thing she was doing. I felt in Stardom she was a star in the making but they never pulled the trigger and kept her deep into faction warfare as apart of every charge with HATE or Oedo Tai (The faction HATE spawned from) and as a Tag Team specialist. Their parting match even buried her fun gimmick. A boost to 10 can occur if her potential is finally fulfilled in a place she is more suited for..."

[7.0] "I think she stood out a lot in Stardom & was a welcome, different addition to that roster. I will say that I don't think she ever reached her full potential there. There were glimpses of excellent storytelling that could have been told; like the time when she was sad Poi left DDM for Cosmic Angels. Or when she had beef with Okada on her way out the door. But I don't think that stuff was ever flushed out as much as it should have been. I'm not sure if that's due to shortcoming with Stardom's booking or if it was shortcomings from Thekla. Now that she'll be coming to AEW, it will be interesting to see if they can pull out more character development out of her."

[5.0] "DDM Thekla is the good Thekla, Oedo Tai Thekla is a boring Thekla, H.A.T.E. Thekla is probably one of the worst characters in the company right now, since turning heel they been trying to book her like a badass but all that they did was getting rid of all her charisma"

[7.0] "Thekla has had her ups and downs, she is currently booked like a star and has become a more interesting character as a result. At the end of Ogawa's tenure however she was booked like an absolute joke losing every match, left for a bit then returned just before his exit. I will always wonder what happened behind the scenes during this period? She has cut down on the cringe for the most part I am happy to say. She is good, great even, in the ring but I think her move-set is a bit lacking and she relies too much on a couple of spots. I think her Toxic Spider gimmick has a ton of untapped potential."

"Since the break up of DDM Thekla has been continuously "raising the bar" in and out of the ring. Love the new Thekla."

[10.0] "Thekla is bursting with charisma, every time I watch her I'm drawn to the screen. She has the look, and the in-ring talent of a top star, and I hope Stardom recognise that soon and start pushing her like one. Her moveset is exciting, and her mannerisms are unique. And her run in Mafia Bella certified her as one of the true badasses of wrestling"

[10.0] "I was shocked to find out shes a Austrian Pro Wrestler, and shes only wrestled 1 or 2 matches in Europe. However, she has had some bad booking when they took the SWA title off her, I really hope she gets another singles run soon, but being an Artist Of Stardom champion is great for now. MafiaBella is probably the best womens tag team in the entire world right now. Im excited to see her future and I know shes only getting started with her DDM, Bari Bari Bomber, & MafiaBella madness."

[6.0] "By Stardom standards she's fine: their more spot-orientated style was something she pretty much immediately got good at as shown by the huge GIF-worthy spots from her very first match for the company. Good for tags, a bit more shaky on the singles stuff: her Ice Ribbon work was actually pretty poor and never really clicked properly with anyone in particular. She has certain.....tendencies that Stardom have clearly just said "please try not to do that" and for the most part that's actually helped in ironing down her quality to focus on ring-work and technique rather than shtick. Even now I don't think she's THAT remarkable of a worker beyond a few matches and/or spots, and that's a shame because she clearly has a look and presentation that could really be something, and you see that clearly in slower matches where she's allowed to actually work heat sequences instead of just spot to spot to rest to spot like many of her usual work is like. Needless to say, it's a huge improvement from the bonkers EXIT matches she was doing a few years ago, lol."

[9.0] "The main thing you'll always see people commenting on with Thekla is how uniquely she moves in the ring. Nobody in the industry has a style quite like hers, and it often makes her hard to describe because it's so unique. Everything looks somehow both calculated and improvised at the same time, like she's always trying something different but has a deep repertoire to draw from. She's fascinating to watch, and she's got an effortlessly cool charisma as one half of Mafia Bella."

[9.0] "I love Thekla's charisma and unique moveset. She regularly has top quality high-speed throwdowns with the best speedsters of the best roster in women's wrestling so that alone makes her an 8 for me; throw in everything that make her a complete package: her chemistry with DDM (Guilia as Mafia Bella particularly) and the entertainment she offers makes her a 9 for me. Easily one of the best Gaijin Stardom has ever had!"

[8.0] "Thekla is certainly a unique wrestler in her mouvements that look somehow weird, almost botched, but perfectly done. The last time I saw someone who made me feel that way seeing thème wrestle it was with Akira Taue, admittedly they remain very different in their styles. She certainly knows how to stand out, whether she wrestles or not, and she can cut cool promos too. I think she can get better but for now, an 8 will suffice."

[9.0] "Thekla's place is obviously in Stardom. Not only her bonding with Donna Del Mondo is fantastic, but also her in-ring chemistry with literally any member of the roster is well rounded. One of the top gaijins in the history of the company and has accomplished enough for her first year in the promotion."

[7.0] "Thekla is very talented, and perhaps even more importantly, she stands out from everyone else in Joshi with her hybrid of creepiness and agility. She will not always be the best wrestler in a given match, but there is a good chance she will be the most entertaining."

[3.0] "Easily Stardom's Cringiest signing. Insufferable to listen too she sounds like a 6 year old trying to be cool lol. In the ring she's decent enough but her mannerisms just make her hard to watch. I thought the Clown was bad but Thekla takes the cake here."

[8.0] "It wasn't until earlier today where I realized just how great Thekla is as a wrestler. Not only has she already become a new fan favorite over at Stardom after only one night, but she's practically got it all to succeed in the promotion. I'm sure her rating will ascend as she does in the premier joshi promotion."

[8.0] "Until recently, I'd only seen one match of Thekla's, and that was her match with Haruka that happened about a year ago. I didn't want to rate her after seeing little of her, so I did more digging after hearing the rumors that she's joining Stardom. I now feel like I've seen enough to give her at least give her a 7. She has tons of charisma, is unique, I love the whole spider aspect to her arsenal, her promos are good and her in-ring ability will only improve in Stardom. I fully expect to her to live up to an 8/10 soon enough, so I'll give her an 8 right now. She has the makings of being a potential breakout star in Stardom and I hope she lives up to that potential."

She is not just a good wrestler, she is artistic, lively and she has features that both distinguish her from the general crowd and help her matches in terms of storytelling and tension. I have known Ice Ribbon not so long ago, but it is one of those that I liked when I first viewed it. Now she is a mid-carder and copes with her task very well, but I hope that she will achieve more someday, because she really deserves it. I want her to have a future."
